The SCTLink™ cable can be tested with an Ethernet Network Tester/Analyzer. You can also use the provided PowerSniffer, which tests conductor continuity. A properly terminated cable will display eight GREEN LEDs on the PowerSniffer.

The LEDs on the modules indicate the operational status of the system. The HDCP LED on RC4-CE being Solid Green or Blinking Green indicates a proper connection, while Off indicates a problem. The OK/LINK LED on RC4-HE blinking Red and Green indicates a proper connection, while Blinking Red or Off indicates a problem. Finally, the Power LED on RC4-HE being Solid Green indicates a proper connection, while Blinking Red or Off indicates a problem.
