Introduction
The Learning+ training subscription is cloud-based and includes self-paced e-learning courses in
addition to videos and webinar recordings. Technology assessments are available to provide a
baseline of knowledge and point learners to a place to start on their learning journey. This User
Guide contains important information about how to use your Learning+ training subscription.
Please review all components carefully to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your
subscription.
Overview of Learning+
Summary of Outcomes
With a Learning+ subscription, you’ll have the curriculum and tools to train and upskill yourself on
Rockwell Automation products and solutions. With this knowledge, you can see additional cost
savings with improved asset reliability and reduced unplanned downtime risk. Learning+ can also
lower training and travel expenses with our most popular in-person training experiences available
within the Learning+ online environment. Please reference your service agreement for details.

How to Set Up Your Online Support Center and
myRockwellAutomation Account
Creating an account will give you access to our Online Support Center and myRockwellAutomation,
which includes Learning+. Follow these steps to do so:
1. Navigate to myRockwellAutomation.
2. Click on “Create an Account.”
3. Enter your information into the form.
4. To finish creating an account, you need to confirm that you own the email address that you used
to create the account. To confirm your email address, click or tap the link in the email you
received when you created the account.
5. Once your myRockwellAutomation Account is set up, you can access Learning+ by navigating to
the right-hand side of the screen under Resources and selecting Learning+.
*Note: Please confirm your email account as soon as possible, as you will not be able to access your
account until you confirm your email address or mobile number. In addition, the email verification link
will expire within 14 calendar days and the account will be removed.

Access Learning+
After setting up your myRockwellAutomation account, accessing Learning+ is easily accomplished from
the Resources menu on the right side of your myRockwellAutomation home page.
How to Navigate the Learning+ Platform
Once inside the Learning+ platform, you will be able to access everything about your subscription, and
all the content your subscription entitles you to.
My Account
The first step that you will want to complete is accessing ‘My Account’ and setting up your
Learning+ Profile.
Profile
Within your profile, you can:

Upload your Profile Image – while not required, this is a great feature to give Learning+ a
personalized feel
View your subscription type – shows the access key that you have used to unlock content
View your subscription expiration date – this is the date all content will relock and you will
no longer have access

Manage your email notification preferences - you will receive a handful of emails
throughout your subscription term helping you along your journey with Learning+
Update Time zone – this is used to personalize the virtual instructor-led session times to
your local time
*Name and Email profile information will automatically populate based on your
myRockwellAutomation information.
My Certificates
Any certificates of completion you achieve upon completion of all course components will be
displayed in your My Account Profile. These will be accessible with or without an active
subscription so you can come back at any time to view your certificates.
Unlocking Content With Your Access Key
You will require an access key to unlock the content. This access key will be included in your Welcome
Email. If you are a Multi-User or Flex subscriber, please contact your organization’s administrator for an
access key. 90-Day Fast Pass keys will allow only one (1) single course to be unlocked. Ensure you are
unlocking the intended course you wish to complete with this subscription type.
Upon clicking Unlock, content associated with your subscription type will unlock. Refer to the
Entitlement Overview above for what should unlock when you use your access key.
My Area
My Area is located at the bottom of your Learning+ HOME screen. This will display all your
In Progress and Completed e-learning Courses. Your progress for each course is shown in a green
progress bar that is visible within the tile.
Top Menu Navigation Bar
Courses
Courses are interactive learning experiences with simulations and videos covering nine (9) technology
categories. All courses are modular, divided into lessons and modules, and are self-paced, allowing you
to come and go as needed. Learners can earn a certificate of completion upon completion of all course
components, including the end-of-course survey.
Courses are presented in Categories for easy navigation between technologies and even have
subcategories to focus on exactly what you’re looking for.

Each e-learning course may consist of one or more components. Once you have unlocked a course,
you can see the lessons in a course and the module topics within each lesson.
Lessons
Lessons are the first level of hierarchy in a course.
Modules
Modules are the lowest level of hierarchy in a course, and these are the actual content packages
you will be accessing.
To successfully complete a course, you need to complete all lesson components of a course.
Your progress for each lesson component is visible within the tile, shown as a green
progress bar.
Videos
Videos are where you can find content on a variety of automation technologies that can be filtered by
category, subcategory and language. You will also find the On-Demand Genius Webinar recordings in
this location.
Assessments
This product and skill-based assessment tool can be used to baseline your knowledge on a topic,
supporting you in making data-driven decisions on which courses might be right for you. Assessments
can be taken as many times as you wish. Questions are developed from a bank of questions and
randomized for each attempt. Your scores will not be shared with administrators as assessments are a
tool and should not be viewed as pass/fail.
Upon clicking on an assessment, you will be temporarily routed out of the Learning+ platform via a new
browser tab. Learning+ will remain open in your original tab for you to easily return after completing the
assessment.
Assessment Reporting
In the assessment portal you can access reporting on the assessments you have attempted.
Learner Assessment Summary Report – This report displays a high-level summary of tests that
have been attempted. Includes a drilldown into another report showing each attempt. The
reporting format can be displayed in HTML, CSV (Excel), CSV (Excel UTF-8) and XLS (Excel).
Learner Assessment Attempt Analysis Report – This report displays a learner’s attempts on a
given assessment. Includes a drilldown to another report showing the questions and your
responses for each user attempt.
*Assessment attempt data will be available in Learning+ as part of the reports that
administrators have access to. Only the data on which assessments were attempted and how
many times they were attempted will be visible in Learning+.
Events
Events allow you to quickly browse Virtual Instructor-Led Training sessions that are available and
upcoming for you to enroll and participate in. Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions are hybrid
modularized virtual lectures, lab experience demonstrations, simulations and demonstration videos, and
available office hours for small group coaching to enhance learning concepts. VILT courses are broken
down into 2-hour sessions over several days/weeks. The search functionality will allow you to quickly
find areas of interest where you would like to continue your learning journey.
Virtual Instructor-Led Training Calendar
Represented by the calendar icon; Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions are hybrid modularized
virtual lectures, lab experience demonstrations, simulations and demonstration videos, and available
office hours for small group coaching to enhance learning concepts. VILT courses are broken down into
2-hour sessions over several days/weeks. Within the top toolbar, there is a Calendar icon. You can use
this feature to view a calendar of all Virtual Instructor-Led Training sessions. You can adjust the view by
Day, Week and Month.
Filter by ‘My Registered Sessions’ to view only sessions that you have enrolled in.
Notifications
Represented by the bell icon; Learning+ notifications alert you when there is key information, updates or
milestones to be aware of.
Search Tool
Represented by the magnifying glass icon; the search feature allows you to quickly find content based
on your search criteria. Enter what you’re searching for and then click the magnifying glass to execute
the search.
Virtual Instructor-Led Training Sessions - Live Notifications
This icon in the top menu toolbar will illuminate when a live VILT session is in progress. You can enroll
and join in at any time if you are interested in that training session’s content.
Reporting
Learning+ captures usage information to provide administrative dashboards for Multi-User and Flex
subscriptions. For these subscriptions, the following reports will be available to your organization’s
administrator. Scores or results of knowledge checks are never shared.

Course Completion Report – Displays what courses have been completed and course progress.
Access Key Report – Displays access key identification, how many users are provisioned on the
key, how many users remain on the key and does not include Flex subscription access keys.
Flex Subscription Report – Displays access key report for Flex subscriptions only.
Survey Report – Displays responses to e-learning course surveys; survey response is mandatory
to receive a course completion certificate.
Virtual Survey Report – Displays responses to VILT session surveys; survey responses optional.
Enrollment Report – Displays enrollments in VILT sessions.
User Activity Report – Displays log-ins, time spent in the system and last log-in date.
Usage Summary Report – Displays overall Learning+ user usage including access key utilization,
e-learning course usage, course survey responses, and Virtual Instructor-Led Training session
enrollment.
Assessment Report – Displays what assessments have been attempted and completed.
Customer Support
All customer support for Learning+ is provided by clicking the link for HELP available on the lower left
corner of each page. This will provide self-service support through a constantly monitored email to
address customer support needs. You can also reach out to [email protected] for
Learning+ or any training assistance.
