Placement Requirements
The placement of your ASEM™ box PC or ASEM box thin client must:
•
Be at a suitable height.
•
Be secured to a flat level surface (such as a shelf or wall) if placed in an area where
vibration is present.
- Holes are provided on both sides of the box PC for side mounting installation and
on the bottom for an upright installation
•
Be mounted in a horizontal orientation and vertical (upright) position for the
following:
- For wall-mount: The I/O ports face must face upward and the ground screw must
be located on a lower mounting bracket tab.
- For DIN rail-mount: The I/O ports face must face forward and the ground screw
must be located on the bottom bracket tab.
IMPORTANT
•
Your ASEM box PC or ASEM box thin client generates heat.
Do not operate your ASEM box PC or ASEM box thin client in an
enclosure without the minimum clearances unless adequate
ventilation or other cooling methods are used to lower the
temperature within the enclosure.
