Upgrade Description
Update MagneMover LITE switches with the Double Shear SF Switch Kit.
Upgrade Preparation
Required Parts:
• Rail, HD, Straight, Switch, G4-A
• Axle, Flipper, Switch, Gen 4, ML
• Spacer, Bearing, Flipper, Gen 3, ML
• Screw, Set, Flat PT, M6 x 6 mm L, A2 SS
• Loctite 243, Thread locking Adhesive, Blue
Required Tools:
• Pin, Alignment, Rail to Post, Gen 4
Procedure:
1. Remove the two M6 x 10 mm screws securing the original straight
rail assembly to the switch and remove the rail. Save the screws for
use later.

2. Remove the shoulder bolt securing the flipper to the rail. Save the
flipper for use later.

3. Remove the arm bearing assembly from the switch.

4. Clean the set screw and apply fresh Loctite 243.
5. Install the arm bearing assembly onto the switch and tighten the
set screw to 3 in•lb.
Upgrade Installation
1. Mount the components on the new straight rail assembly.
A. Install the bearing spacer (2) in the rail (1).
B. Locate the flipper arm assembly (3) in the rail, aligning the
bearing to the bearing spacer (2).
C. Install the axle pin (4) through the arm and flipper and seat in the
bearing spacer.
D. Install the set screw with pre-applied Dri-Loc (5) in the rail and
tighten to 8 in•lb.
2. Install the new straight rail assembly using the alignment pin to
position. Make sure the flipper arm assembly seats properly on the
arm bearing assembly and secure using one of the previously
removed M6 x 10 mm screws and tighten to 30 in-lbs. Remove the
alignment pin and install the remaining M6 x 10 mm screw and
tighten to 30 in•lb.
3. Re-calibrate and pull test per Flipper Pull Test procedure.
