This switch is compatible with NEMA Type 7 panels ranging from 3/8” (9.5) to 2-1/2” (50.8) and Type 9 panels ranging from 7/32” (7.2) to 2-1/2” (50.8).

To replace a potentiometer, you need to follow a multi-step process, including removing the housing, disconnecting the wires, loosening set screws, and removing the shaft adapter. Then, install a new potentiometer, aligning the tabs, tightening the nut and lockwasher, connecting the wires, and reassembling the housing. The locking screw should be tightened to 4 ± ½ lb.-in with a 1/16” (1.6) hex wrench.
