Bulletin 598 Pad Mounting Foot Kit Installation Instructions

ATTENTION: To prevent electrical shock, disconnect from power source before installing or
servicing. Install in suitable enclosure. Keep free from contaminants.
For use with Bulletin 1232X and 1233X NEMA Size 3 & 4 Pump Panels
1) Remove knockouts at Location A on the right side, left side and bottom of the enclosure.
2) Install mounting pad foot on the right side and left side of enclosure as shown below,
while the enclosure is lying on its back or on it's side, on a well supported, clean surface
preferably covered with a rubber liner or equivalent.

3) Install carriage bolt, flat washer, lock washer and nut as shown below. Tighten to specified
torque value.
Enclosure for Sizes 3 & 4 Pump Panels (50" x 22" x 10") requires (4) bolts per pad mounting foot.
NOTE: This pad mounting foot kit can also be used with other enclosures that may not have knockouts
for the carriage bolts. Using the mounting feet as a template, drill 7/16 dia. holes for the bolts.
Customer option to use either 4 or 6 bolts for each pad mounting foot.
