Support and Warranty
If an issue arises with the XProtect Essential NVR, Milestone Technical Support will provide phone and/or email
support. Please visit this page for more information: http://www.milestonesys.com/support/technical+support
XProtect Essential NVR is shipped with an exclusive 3-year on-site hardware service and a 3-year warranty on
spare parts.
On-site Next Business Day: Your HP warranty includes on-site warranty service. Under the terms of
on-site service, HP may at its sole discretion, determine if a defect can be repaired:



Remotely
By the use of a CSR – Customer-Self-Repair, for example a new RAM module
By a service call at the location of the defective unit
If HP ultimately determines that an on-site service call is required to repair a defect the call will be
scheduled during standard office hours, 8:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, but may vary with local
business practices. If the location of the defective unit is outside the customary service zone (typically
50km), response times may be longer or there may be additional charges.
HP aims to ensure that the product will be operational by the end of the next business day, following
the end user’s first notification of equipment failure. Unless otherwise stated, all responses are
measured from the time the customer calls, or a mutually acceptable time for support to be performed
has been established, or HP has begun to provide support or remote diagnostics.
For example: If a customer reports the failure of a systems product at any time during business hours
on Monday, the product will be fixed by the end of business day on Tuesday.
Warranty: If the product does not function according to specifications or is dead on arrival, a physical
claim should be made to Milestone Systems A/S immediately after the product has been received.
If a replacement product is warranted, then this product will ship from the factory within the standard
lead time for the product, after the initial claim by the customer.
If a spare part is warranted the lead is next business day.
Please visit this page for more product warranty information:
http://www13.itrc.hp.com/service/ewarranty/warrantyInput.do.
** Terms and conditions may vary by country. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply.
On-site service may be provided pursuant to a service contract between HP and an authorized HP third-party provider, and is not available in
certain countries. Global service response times are based on commercially reasonable best effort and may vary by country.
