PAiA 9752 Sample and Hold Owner's Manual

Paia 9752 is a second-generation sample and hold module for modular synthesizers. It monitors input voltage and copies it to the output, synchronized to changes in input control voltage (CV), an input clock, or an internal clock. It can be used with audio or control signals, offering both 'sample and hold' and 'gate and hold' modes. The module is designed for easy assembly and compatibility with most modular synthesizer systems.

Frequently asked questions

The 9752 accepts both audio and control signals as input.

Synchronization can be achieved via an input control voltage (CV), an input clock, or an internal clock.

In 'sample and hold' mode, the output copies the input at specific intervals. In 'gate and hold' mode, the output tracks the input as long as the control voltage is above a threshold, freezing when it drops until the next high-going transition.

You'll need wire cutters, pliers, a screwdriver, a soldering iron, solder, and a magnifying glass.

Use high-quality electronic solder; lead-free and/or tin-lead flux-core solders are compatible. Avoid plumbing or jewelry solder.
