Frequently asked questions

Ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on the instrument (long press the ◄ key). Open the testo Smart App, which will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth® devices. The app will show if it's connected; if not, try restarting the instrument.

Enter configuration mode (press MENU/ENTER). Select "UNITS" and use the ◄/► keys to choose between metric and imperial, confirming with MENU/ENTER.

Press ◄ until 'Max' or 'Min' is displayed. Then, hold down ◄ for approximately 2 seconds to reset.

Press MODE/END to initiate. Press MENU/ENTER to record each reading; press MODE/END again to stop and view the calculated mean.

A testo Bluetooth®/IRDA printer (order no. 0554 0621) is required. Connect it via Bluetooth. Press and hold ► to transfer.
