Frequently asked questions

SSDs used by HyperDeck must be formatted as either HFS+ or exFAT.

You can select from a choice of uncompressed and compressed video formats, including uncompressed 10-bit QuickTime, Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD.

You will need a camera that can trigger the record function of HyperDeck via HD-SDI. Enable Trigger recording and ensure the REM button is illuminated on the unit for HyperDeck Studio models.
