INSTALLATION
1. Carefully follow these instructions. Failure to comply could result in product damage or create hazardous conditions.
2. Review the rating provided in the guidelines and on the product itself to ensure that it is appropriate for your specific use.
3. The installer must be a service technician with the appropriate training and experience.
4. Once installation has been completed, review the product’s functionality as per the instructions.
LOCATION
Place the Breeze33 Contactor on a level and secure surface near the controlled equipment.
MOUNTING AND WIRING
CAUTION: Before starting the installation, disconnect the power supply to prevent the risk of electrical shock or equipment damage. Ensure that all
wiring adheres to the regulations set forth by local codes and ordinances.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to wire the contactor into the system while staying within the contact and coil ratings.
NEW INSTALLATION
1. For optimal performance, install the contactor in a vertical position. Contactors mounted horizontally have a 12% decrease in efficiency.
2. To mount the contactor, use two screws to secure to the equipment.
3. Refer to the wiring instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer or consult Fig. 1 (see page 2).
4. Connect the line wires to the contactor by utilizing the terminal clamp screws.
5. Use the No. 10 binding screws to fasten the load wires.
6. When using a wire larger than No. 8, use the pressure lugs for field wiring.

Power Supply - ensure that overload protection and disconnect means are provided as necessary.

The control circuit comprises of a power supply for line voltage or low voltage (depending on the model used), along with a controller and/or
safety devices.

Quick connect terminals are designed to be used only with accessory connections.

To replace single pole contactors with trickle heat, it is necessary to install a properly sized jumper wire between L1 and T1.
REPLACEMENT INSTALLATION
1. Remove the contact and coil leads and properly identify them to ensure they are correctly connected to the new contactor.
2. Remove previous contactor & retain the mounting screws.
3. Use previous mounting screws to mount new contactor in appropriate location (For optimal contactor performance, vertical mounting position
is recommended).
4. Reattach the contact and coil leads to the appropriate terminals.
TEST
It is essential to always perform a comprehensive check after the installation process is finished. Reestablish a power supply and test the contactor and controlled
equipment to confirm that the contactor engages when the coil is energized and the controlled equipment functions properly.
