Installation Instructions

This product must be installed and serviced by a professional service technician qualified in pool/spa heater
installation and maintenance. If you do not follow these instructions exactly, a fire or explosion may result, causing

INSTALLATION
1. Turn off the electrical power to the heater.
2. Open the heater’s right door, then remove the left door from the heater.
3. Disconnect all the wires and connectors from the Ignition Module (P/N 472240).
4. Remove the following wires and connectors from the PCB of DDTC:
¾ 4-wire connector P11 from J11 (IGN MOD)
¾ Gray wire from J2 (FAN)
¾ Orange wire from J1 (24VAC)
5. Remove the following wires from the Air Pressure Switch:
¾ Orange wire on “COM” terminal
¾ Gray wire on “NO” terminal
6. Remove the brown wire from the Flame Sensor.
7. Remove the black wire from L1 to Terminal Block “B”.
8. Remove the blue wire from IGN/120 to CON-MAL (white male connector.)
9. Remove the two screws from the mounting bracket of Ignition Module. Then, install the new Ignition Module
(P/N 472150) by using the same two screws.
10. Install two new wiring harnesses (P/N 472148 & P/N 472149). Reconnect all the wires exactly per the new
wiring diagram, (see next page).
11. Reattach the left door and replace the new wiring diagram label (P/N 472153) on the inside of the left door.
