Elevance Delivery Retrofit Kit

[002-1678-00 for 115 VAC] [002-1678-01 for 230 VAC]

Attention

This kit is designed for replacing a Procenter Delivery Unit (LR or Console mounted) on an

Elevance Chair with an Elevance Delivery Unit.

Caution - Equipment Alert

Always disconnect chair from the power source before removing any covers. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.

Step 1: Position chair and disconnect power.

A) Tap a chair cover three times to raise the chair. (Chair beeps until it reaches the set position).

B) Disconnect the power supply (in J-box).

LR mounted units

Step 2: Remove seat upholstery and seat frame.

A) Rotate lock knob and lift seat upholstery up to remove.

B) Remove screws/washers and seat shrouds on both sides.

C) Remove two shoulder bolts/washers and lift off seat frame.

Remove Procenter LR Mounted Unit

Step 3: Disconnect Procenter LR Mounted tubing and wiring.

A) Remove the PC Board cover.

B) Disconnect everything from the interface PC Board and remove*.

C) Disconnect all tubing.

D) Push delivery umbilical and tubing bundle thru hole in chair frame as you pull them thru and free from the mounting arm.

E) Remove bolt, cap, bearings and entire Procenter delivery from the chair

LR mounting arm.

F) Install Elevance delivery unit - go to page 4.

* Note: Leave jumper attached to Interface PC Board. It is not required for Elevance Unit.

Step 2: Remove Procenter Console and Delivery Unit.

A) Remove covers from console (both sides).

B) Loosen set screws with Allen wrench (both sides) holding flex arm in console.

C) Lift Procenter Unit and flex arm assembly out of the console.

D) Disconnect all tubing and wiring connections inside of the console*.

E) Loosen leveling bolts and lift console off the mounting arm, freeing the wiring and tubing harnesses from the console.

F) Install Elevance delivery unit - go to page 4.

* Note: Leave Interface PC Board and jumper in the console. It is not required for Elevance Unit.

Leveling

Install the Elevance delivery unit.

A) Reference the LR or Console Elevance installation guide packaged with the delivery unit.

B) Also, route the USB extension cable and USB power cable from this kit thru the chair and into the J-Box*.

*Note: Route the USB extension cable with the Type B connector in the chair frame

(or console) and the Type A connector in the J-box.

To complete installation...

A) Reference Elevance Chair PCB Kit and follow instructions to replace the chair PCB Board.

B) Install all covers that were removed.

C) Connect chair to power supply.
