Configuration Cable for Wireless

This installation manual describes installing the Configuration Cable.

The Configuration Cable works with a computer running DriveRight Fleet

Management Software (FMS) to configure Wireless On-Board Modules

(#8129) for use in your fleet.

The Configuration Cable can be connected to any computer via a USB port.

The unit is compatible with DriveRight FMS version 3.7 or later. To connect the Configuration Cable to your computer:

1. Update FMS to 3.7 or install the FMS software if necessary. Install the

Configuration Cable drivers following the instructions provided in the FMS

Online Help.

2. Locate a free USB port on your computer and connect the USB connector to the port.

3. Insert the USB- Mini B connector into the USB slot of the configuration cable.

4. Connect the Wireless

On-Board Module to the Configuration

Cable by plugging in the male connector into the socket on the Configuration Cable.

5. Follow the FMS

Online Help instructions for configuring the Wireless On-Board

Module.
