Boston Scientific LATITUDE NXT Communicator Patient Management System User Guide

LATITUDE NXT Communicator is a wireless, in-home monitor that transmits data from a patient's implanted device to a secure website. The Communicator uses either a standard landline or a cellular data network to transfer data. It is configured through small switches located on the bottom of the Communicator to match the patient's phone dialing protocol and country location. The Communicator is designed to work only with the implanted device of the patient for whom it was prescribed. It is important to keep the Communicator plugged into a power outlet and connected to a telephone line. The Communicator may work on other telephone systems, such as DSL and VoIP Internet systems, if those systems provide an analog interface for connecting the Communicator.
