Functional Description

MODEL:

AC-4650UC, AC-5600UC and AC-6000UC

NOTE: Some illustrations in this installation manual may show details that differ from those on your own utility chest.

NAME OF PARTS:

Utility Chest:

1/4" x 1" Sheet Metal Screw (4) Foam Tape (2) Plastic Plug (2)

TOOLS REQUIRED:

3/8" Wrench / Socket Drill with a 3/16" Drillbit Scissors Safety Glasses

Installation

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

THE

CAUTION: THIS INSTALLATION REQUIRES

USE OF POWER TOOLS. SAFETY

GLASSES SHOULD BE WORN AT ALL

TIMES DURING THE USE OF THE

POWER TOOLS.

CAUTION: IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LIFT A

MINIMUM OF 60 LBS., THEN THIS

INSTALLATION WILL REQUIRE THE

USE OF TWO PEOPLE.

CAUTION: PINCH AREA BETWEEN BODY

AND LID OF UTILITY CHEST. (FIG. 1)

1. Peel backing off the foam gasket (C). (Fig. 2)

2. Attach the foam gasket (D) onto the bottom of the utility chest (A). Trim the foam gasket (D) flush with the ends of the utility chest (A).

3. Insert the plastic plugs (H) into the holes in the bottom of the utility chest (A).

Installation

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED):

CAUTION: SAFETY GLASSES SHOULD BE WORN

DURING THIS STEP OF THE INSTALLATION.

4. Place the utility chest (A) into the vehicle bed. Drill a

3/16" hole in each corner of the utility chest (A).

Secure it into place using 1/4" x 1" sheet metal screws (B). (Fig. 4)

Maintenance

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

To maintain the luster of your utility chest, use a mild detergent.

NOTE: Locks are provided as a deterrent to inadvertent opening or easy access to the contents of your utility chest. Contents stored in the utility chest are the responsibility of the user.

LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

All locks, latches, latching rods, and hinges should be lubricated regularly to assure smooth and proper operation for the life of the utility chest. Lubricate the following locations.
