Changing Position of Time & Date

Access the setup menu and move the cursor to POSITION, using the up/down button.

Keep pressing the set button until desired time & date position is achieved. Use the up/down button to move the cursor.

Alarm Text

The TEXT feature allows text to be displayed on screen when the camera PIR is in an alarm state. The text will only be displayed when used in conjunction with a Voltek PIR camera system.

To change the alarm text access the setup menu and move the cursor to TEXT, using the up/ down button. Press the set button and use the up/down button to change the text characters, and the set button to select the next character. There are 8 characters of text.

This product can be used with your camera system in order to display the current time and date on the screen. This allows your video tapes to be automatically logged for future use.

INSTALLATION

There are 3 different connection methods, please choose the appropriate method which best suits your requirements

Method 1

Connecting to a Voltek Camera

Camera Scart lead

Plug the RJ11 (telephone type connector) from the camera into the CAM in connector on the back of the CT230. The power is supplied to the Time & DateGenerator through the camera cable. There is no need for a seperate power supply directly into the unit. Switch the power on and select your camera channel, You should now see the camera picture with the time and date inserted into the screen.

Plug the phono connectors into the A / V IN on the back of the CT230. Switch the power on and select your camera channel, you should now see the camera picture

with the time and date inserted into the screen

CHANGING THE SETTINGS

To access the setup menu press and hold the set button until the screen changes .

The setup menu should be displayed on the screen.

Changing Time & Date

Move the cursor to CLOCK SET using the up / down button. Press set

year should start flashing, use the up / down button to set the year.

Press the set button to select month, use the up/down button to set the month.

Press the set button to select day, use the up/down button to set the day.

Press the set button to select minutes, use the up/down button to set the minutes.

Press the set button to select hours, use the up/down button to set the hours.

Press the set button and the cursor should move to exit

Press set to leave the menu or use the up/down button to select other options within the menu.
