INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR FIXTURE #1773

WARNING! SHUT OFF THE POWER AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE(FIG.2)

1.

Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If necessary, remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

2.

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

3.

Adjust the arms to their desired position.

4.

Thread the finial (G) over the nipple (F) until snug.

5.

Slide the candle cover (C) over the socket (D).

6.

Install the light bulb in accordance with fixture’s specifications. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXMUM WATTAGE

RATING!

7.

Clip the shade (B) over the bulb properly.

8.

Hook the crystal (E) onto the fixture body as shown in Fig. 2.

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (FIG.1)

2, Thread the nipple (I) into the collar loop (J) until snug.

3, Thread the other end of nipple (I) into the cross bar (F) until snug.

4, Place lock washer (E) over the end of nipple (I) protruding

through cross bar (F) and thread hex nut (D) onto nipple until

tight.

5, Take this crossbar assembly and mount tightly to junction box

(A) using outlet box screw (H). The side of cross bar marked

“GND” must face out.

6,By measuring, determine correct number of links needed for

proper hanging height. Use a pair of chain pliers, to open one end link and discard un-wanted chain.

7, Connect a safety chain link (M) onto each end links of the

chain.

8, Connect one safety chain link (M) onto the fixture loop (A).

Close the safety chain link (M) until tight.

9, Lace the fixture wires through the chain.

10, Slip collar ring (L) over the chain, and through canopy (K).

11, Connect the other safety chain link (M) onto the collar loop

(J) and close the link.

12, Feed the fixture wires through the collar loop (J) and nipple

(I) and pull until tight.

CONNECTING THE WIRE (See fig.3)

At this point, connect the electrical wire as shown in figure

3, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixtures ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture ground wire directly to the crossbar using the Green Screw provided.

14. Tuck these wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box and then raise the canopy (K) all the way to the ceiling.

Raise the collar ring (L) and thread onto collar loop(J) protruding through canopy.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
