Frequently asked questions

The system will ask you to confirm the engine type during initial setup. You can select the engine type using the Up and Down keys.

RPM-based mode is smoother, particularly for lighter loads. Speed-based mode is more accurate and is less affected by load.

You can adjust the pull characteristics using the KDW setting. The higher the KDW value, the more aggressively the system will control speed corrections.

You can calibrate the digital speedometer using the Speedo Adjust feature in the menu. Adjust the speed up or down until it matches your conventional speedometer or GPS reading.

The Quick List allows you to store up to eight names and their preferred speeds. You can access it by pressing the MENU & UP keys together and then selecting Quick List from the menu.

The system has been loaded with USA Water Ski / I.W.S.F. Record Capability time tolerance charts for slalom and jump events. You can use a manual hand timer or a Smart Timer magnetic sensor to time the passes.
