The SAMSUNG 8500 plasma TV is a high-definition television with a variety of features including Smart Hub, Anynet+, e-Manual, and SMART Interaction. It is compatible with 3D glasses and has a built-in TV camera and microphone that can be used for the Motion Control, Voice Recognition, and Face Recognition features. To use the TV camera, extend it by gently pushing it in without touching the lens until you hear a click. It will pop up. If you are not using the TV camera, keep it retracted inside the TV. The Motion Control and Face Recognition features cannot be used while the TV camera is in the retracted state, but Voice Recognition will still be available.

To pair 3D active glasses with your TV, turn on the TV and move the glasses within 19.5 inches of the TV. Press the power button on the 3D glasses briefly. The 3D glasses will power on and pairing will start. The message “3D glasses are connected to TV.” will be displayed on the TV screen when the pairing is successfully completed.

Samsung Remote Support service offers you one-on-one support with a Samsung Technician who can remotely diagnose your TV, adjust the TV settings for you, perform a factory reset on your TV, and install recommended firmware updates.
