INTRODUCTION
When you want to view a disc, Turn on the TV and select the video input connected to the
DVD player.
2.
POWER BUTTON
Press POWER switch on the front panel to ON, the DVD player turns on, the TV screen will
display the start logo. The LED display will appear NO-DISC when the DVD player plays
without any disc. If a disc is already in the tray, it will begin to play once the power is on.
3.
OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON
1.
Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray, place a disc on the disc tray.
There are two different disc sizes. Place the disc in the correct guide on the disc tray.
If the disc is out of the guide, it may damage the disc and cause the DVD player to
Malfunction. Do not place a disc, which is unplayable in this DVD player.

Press OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray, the playback will automatically start.
Some discs may not playback automatically, you can press ENTER/PLAY
button to start playback.
3.
Some discs may start playback with a menu, use the cursor button on the remote
Control to select menu options and press ENTER/PLAY to start, or press digits to select
a menu options directly.

OSD BUTTON
Press this button once and the screen will display "Time Elapsed" on your TV
Press this button twice and the screen will display "Time Remain" on your TV
Press this button three times and the screen will display "Chapter Elapsed" on your TV
Press this button four times and the screen will display "Chapter Remain" on your TV
5.
SUBTITLE BUTTON
Press this button and the screen will display "SUBTITLE 01/XX XXXXX", "01"
indicates the original number of this language; "XX" indicates total number of language;
"XXXXXX" indicates the language of country. (The number of language depends on disc).
6.
ANGLE BUTTON (Compatible with DVD Disc)
During disc playback, press angle on the remote control once, and the angel icon appears.
Some DVD's contain multiple angles of a particular scene or sequence, so you can use the
angle feature to view. Press the angle button again to go to the next camera angle.
if multiple camera angles are available, the angle icon displays the current angle number and
the number of angles available. For example: "angle icon */* or off; 1/3indicates that angle
One is being displayed, and there are three different angles available. (this feature is disc
dependent, if no additional camera angles are available, the "invalided key" will be displayed)
7.
PROGRAM BUTTON
Press this button and the screen will display info window, press digits button to input the
program number what you want, when finished, move the cursor to select the " Start " logo, at
this time the unit will start program playback and the screen will display "Program" logo. If you
want to cancel this function, press " STOP " and then press "ENTER/PLAY" .

RANDOM BUTTON (Random Selection)
Press this button once and the screen will display "SHUFFLE"
Press this button twice and the screen will display "RANDOM
9.
VIDEO MODE BUTTON (Progressive Scan)
Press this button once and the screen will display "RGB" - for video output
Press this button twice and the screen will display "VGA" - for computer output
Press this button three times and the screen will display "S-VIDEO" - for D-SUB 15pin
Press this button four times and the screen will display "YUV" - for component output

LANGUAGE BUTTON (compatible with DVD discs only)
Press this button for language selection available - depending on your DVD disc language
selection, please note some DVD disc does not have this recorded function.

TITLE BUTTON (compatible with DVD discs only)
According to some DVD discs, press this button will display "Title Menu", the unit will play
From the disc head or you can use digits to select tracks preferred. The DVD player begins
with the chapter I of the chosen title.
12.
MENU BUTTON (compatible with DVD discs only)
Press this button and the screen will display "Root Menu", select item according to your
preference.
13.
STOP BUTTON
1.
Press STOP button to go to stop mode, the TV screen will show the start logo.
As some disc the player can recall the location where stopped, such as DVD.
2.
Press ENTER/PLAY to playback to resume playback from the location
where playback is stopped or from the beginning of the disc.
3.
Press STOP twice to stop completely.

PAUSE/STEP BUTTON
1.
Press PAUSE/STEP first time to PAUSE playback (still mode).
The sound will be muted during still mode
2.
Press PAUSE/STEP continuous to single step forward to the next frame in the video.
3.
Press ENTER/PLAY resume normal playback.
FAST FORWARD & FAST REVERSE BUTTON
1.
Press F.FWD to fast forward through the disc.
Each time the F.FWD button is pressed, the fast forward motion speed changes.
2.
Press ENTER/PLAY to resume normal playback.
3.
Press F.REV to fast reverse through the disc.
Each time the F.REV button is pressed,the fast reverse motion speed changes.

Press ENTER/PLAY to resume normal playback
16.
A-B BUTTON
A-B Repeat Press "A-B RPT" to begin start-point, press again to set an end point and
complete setting. The selected section A-B will be repeated. The third press will cancel
this function.
17.
REPEAT BUTTON
The first press will repeat single song, twice repeat all .the third pressed will cancel repeat.
Note: Some disc must be in menu mode, such as: CD, JPEG, Kodak Picture CD,MP3 & etc.

ZOOM BUTTON
Zoom Each time pressed, the picture enlarges. In this mode, you can move the picture with
CURSOR button. Press zoom repeatedly to activate the function and choose the required
Zoom factor.

USB/SD CARD BUTTON
DVD/USB
To switch between DVD and USB.
(As the unit is set to give priority to disc)If there are at once a disc and a
card in the machine press. This button for switch between them

In no disc state, power on the unit and insert USB to read Audio or video
files. Ensure the print side is facing down of the card. Please note that the
USB pen drive must be in FAT32 format. Other SANDISC Cruzer or NTFS
Format will not work with this portable DVD unit
VOLUME BUTTON
Volume/ Mute Press " + " button to increase volume.
Press " - " to decrease to volume. The first press of MUTE will display MUTE (no voice)
The second press will return to normal playback.

CHAPTER 2 - SPECIAL FUNCTION PLAY-BACK
1. AUDIO CD PLAY-BACK
When playing Audio CD disc, a navigation menu will be displayed automatically if the disc is
loaded in succession. In the menu, use UP or DOWN button in the cursors to select the file, then
press "ENTER/PLAY" to play this file. In this page, press PREV or NEXT can go to the previous
or next page.
2. MP-3 PLAY-BACK
When playing MP-3 disc, a navigation menu will be displayed automatically if the disc is loaded
in succession. In the menu, use UP or DOWN button in the cursors to choose folder, and then
press ENTER/PLAY to play this file. In this page, use LEFT button in the cursors can return
previous menu, press PREV or NEXT can go to the previous or next page.
3. KODAK PICTURE CD DISC Playback
When playing Kodak Picture CD disc, a navigation menu will be displayed automatically if the
disc is loaded in succession. In the menu, use UP or DOWN in the cursor to choose folder, and
then press "ENTER/PLAY" button to confirm. in the folder, use UP or DOWN in the cursor to
select a file, then press "ENTER/PLAY " to play. Each picture in the Kodak Picture CD will be
displayed consecutively in a slide-show fashion and will be scaled to fit in the whole TV screen.
If you want to return the menu, press MENU button. If you desire to display an image
indefinitely, press the PAUSE button. To view the next or previous picture, press NEXT or
PREVIOUS button. To resume the slide-show, press the "ENTER/PLAY" button.
To rotate the image: Use the arrow keys to select one of four rotation modes:
LEFT - Turn left
RIGHT - Turn right
The rotation mode is cancelled automatically when a new picture is displayed. To use Zoom:
Press ZOOM to turn this function on or off. When zoom is on, any picture is displayed at the last
ratio you selected (indicted by a message on the screen). Press F.FWD and F.REV to control the
ratio of zoom in or out. With zoom mode off, a picture is scaled to fit the whole TV screen.
Note: With the zoom function on, slide-show transition and image rotation are disabled.
To cancel the zoom function press ZOOM again, the slide-show resumes.
4. JPEG DISC PLAY-BACK
When playing JPEG disc, a navigation menu will be displayed automatically if the disc is loaded
in succession. In the menu, use UP or DOWN in the cursor to select a file, then press
"ENTER/PLAY", the file will be play with slide-show. Press PREV or NEXT to select the previous
or the next picture. Press PAUSE to pause the current picture for enjoying, when press
ENTER/PLAY, it will return to normal playing. Press ZOOM to zoom in on a picture.
5. DIVX PLAY-BACK
This DVD player is with DiVX function and can play DiVX & MPEG4 discs

2. Trouble Shooting
Please check the following guide for the possible cause and solution for a problem before
contacting the nearest center or dealer for repairs.
1. Precautions for handling and cleaning discs
1.1. Handling discs
To keep a disc clean
Do not touch the play side (non-label side) of the disc.
Do not attach paper or tape to the disc.
Keep the disc away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Store the disc in a disc case after playback.

1.2. Cleaning discs
Ensure the TV unit is set to VIDEO or S-VIDEO or COMPONENT settings
Press Video Mode button on your remote until it appears normal picture
Before playback, wipe the disc outwards from the centre with clean cloth.
Keep dust from the pickup lens by keeping the disc tray closed after use.
No Sound
Change the System Audio Setup for STEREO Setting:
To be used when 2 speakers' outlets exist or when plug directly into your TV unit
Ensure that the "MUTE" button is not set to "ON" for DVD player or TV unit
Ensure that the Audio cable is not faulty
Failed to

If there is dust on the pickup lens, use a cleaning disc to clean it.
Refer to the operating instructions of the cleaning disc you bought.
If you cannot wipe off the dust with a soft cloth, wipe the disc lightly with a slightly moistened soft cloth
and finish with a dry cloth.
Check that the disc is properly inserted or you may have to clean the disc
Check the disc if it has the correct format
Ensure that the disc has NO scratches
Remove obstacles between remote control and unit
Fail to respond

Aim remote control at the sensor on the front panel of the player
Check batteries & replace them if necessary
Do not use any type of solvent such as thinner, benzine, commercially available cleaners or antistatic
spray for vinyl, it may damage the disc

Do not store discs in a place subject to direct sunlight or near heat source
Do not store discs in place subject to moisture and dust such as a
bathroom or near a humidifier.
Store discs vertically in a case. Stacking or placing object on discs
outside or their case may cause warping.
Do not locate the unit in places such as:

Next to heating devices or in enclosed car.
2.
High temperature (40'C or higher) or high humidity (90% or higher)
3.
Dirty places
4.
Avoid direct exposure to sunshine

Shut down the unit, wait ten seconds and restart the unit again
Power surges or brown outs or other electrical phenomena - shut down
the unit, wait ten seconds and restart it again

Condensation
The following circumstances may result in condensation on the pickup:
If you have just turned on the heater or the cold air from an air conditioner directly hits
the unit.
If you move the unit from an air-conditioned room to a hot, humid room.
The room is humid or damp.
If condensation occurs, the player will not operate properly. Remove the disc, connect
the power cord, turn on the player, and leave it for two or three hours so the player can
warm up and evaporate any moisture.
