If you’ll be tracking your weight only,
select Weight Only. Progress checks
will occur every 7 days and you will be
prompted to enter your scale weight.
This is followed by feedback on how to
stay on track. The feedback is based on
changes in total body weight only.
If you’ll be tracking your progress by
using body fat percentage, select
Weight and Body fat. You’ll be
prompted to enter your weight and
body fat percentage every 14 days. The
feedback is based on changes in pounds
of fat if the goal is weight loss, or
changes in pounds of lean body
mass/muscle if the goal includes
gaining weight or building muscle. The medical history
questionnaire helps 1)
determine your health status –
low, moderate or high risk and
2) establish a proper dietary
supplement recommendation.
Only conditions that currently
apply should be selected.

The physical
activity readiness
questionnaire is
designed to assess
whether exercise is
appropriate at this
time.
The next set of
questions relate to
exercise
experience,
physical activity
level and diet type.
These questions
also help
determine dietary
supplement
recommendations.
When selecting activity level, please note
that most people who have a sedentary
occupation fall into the first or second level.

Choose the type of diet that is typically followed. A
Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian consumes eggs, cheese and other
dairy products while a vegan does not consume any
animal products. The appropriate multi-vitamin will be
recommended according to the diet type, activity level,
gender, age and other factors.
If you chose to track
“Weight only” and the
goal is weight loss,
enter a goal weight
and the number of
weeks to achieve the
goal.
The recommended
weight loss rate is one
to two pounds per
week, but a faster rate
may be set based on
starting weight.
NOTE: The minimum
calorie intake target
allowed is 1000-1500
calories per day
depending on starting
weight. Trainer Resource - Creating Your Client’s dotFIT Me Program

For weight or muscle gain

next step. Each
client should read
this form in its
entirety. To

Once the program is created, you can view the program
Dashboard, create an exercise program or view their printout.
Be sure to explain how the program works
using the Dashboard
(see below). There is a convenient video
tutorial as well.
The Dashboard contains the critical
information your client needs to reach their
goals.
The body graphic is a visual representation of
your daily progress as long as you log food.
Green represents calories
consumed. The “Daily Target“ is the
number of calories you should
consume on average each day to
reach your goal.
The food you’ve logged is
displayed as calories
“Consumed” and “Left To Eat”
is dependent on what is
logged.

The most important number is the calorie deficit,
in this case 500 calories, which represents a
weight loss rate of one pound per week. This is
the difference between your calories burned and
calories consumed.
Orange represents
calories burned. The
“Daily Target” is the
average number of
calories you burn
each day.
“Burned” indicates
the calories you’ve
burned so far today,
with “Left To Burn”
being the difference.
The flame represents calorie burn
information based on your personal
statistics. If your exerspy has been
uploaded, the icon will change from
the flame to the exerspy logo and all
calorie burn information will be
reflected accordingly.
The dotFIT Me program displays the calories you’ve burned at any time of day - and as long as
you log food, you’ll see the calories you’ve consumed compared to your burn. To lose weight,
keep your calorie intake below your burn. To gain weight, do the opposite and to maintain
your weight, eat the same number of calories as you burn. By using the dotFIT Me Program,
you have the information you need to adjust your food choices and activity so you achieve and more importantly, maintain your goal. Trainer Resource - Creating Your Client’s dotFIT Me Program

Your Current Daily Progress
displays your calorie balance
based on the food you logged.
In the Feedback section, you’ll be prompted every 7 or
14 days for a Progress check and then receive feedback
based on your results.
The My Progress tab at the bottom of your Dashboard
displays your results, goals and a summary of the
current program.
Here is where you
are displays your
results since the start
of the program to
your last progress
check; you’ll also see
Where you should
be. The graph allows
you to see your
progress against goal
as well as prediction
based on food log.
