Required
The following areas of this vender contain voltage which can
cause serious injury or even death: the main power cord,
supplying 115-230 VAC to the evaporator, EMI filter,
refrigeration system, monitor, and computer; the power line
from the EMI filter to the ballast and transformer; and the
ballast, which can produce upwards of 600 volts. Remove all
power from the vender before working in any of these areas.
for a Cooler or Freezer, the gasket may need to be reformed, if there are gaps between the door and the cabinet.
This procedure describes how to reform the gasket.

SUBJECT: Cooler / Freezer Door Gasket Reforming Procedure
MODELS: All Cooler and Freezer models
1. Open the door.
2. Using one gloved hand, pull the gasket open as
shown in Figure 2, starting at the top and working
downward. Using the other hand, place the heat
gun approximately 3"-4" (7.5 cm - 10 cm) away
from the pulled area of the gasket. Do not allow
the heat gun to get too close to the gasket, and
continually move the heat gun so the gasket does
not melt. Note: A glove must be worn on the
hand pulling the gasket to prevent burns.
3. Close the door. The magnetic gasket should draw
in to the cabinet.
Figure 2 (above). Pull the gasket as shown and use a
heat gun to warm it sufficiently. A glove must be worn
on the hand pulling the gasket to prevent burns.
Figure 3 (photo at left). After heating the gasket
sufficiently, the gap is gone and the procedure is
finished.
