Note
There are three screw holes in cross tube
(3); two of the holes are larger and have
a courser thread. Use these two holes to
secure cross tube assembly.
Step 3: Remove screw and slide ball
pivot sleeve up to expose windows in
tube.
Step 4: With ball pivot sleeve positioned
as high as possible on down tube, pull
blue and brown wires through top window
of down tube and disconnect.
Step 6: Remove cross tube assembly
Step 5: Remove two screws used to
secure cross tube assembly
Caution
Use proper care when removing cross
tube and light head.

Step 8: Disassemble light cross
arm assembly at cross tube swivel
joint by sliding pivot sleeve up and
removing two screws.
Step 7: Disassemble light reflector assembly at lamp tube swivel
joint, by sliding pivot sleeve up and
removing two screws. Disconnect
wires and place light reflector assembly aside for now.
Step 10: Remove switch
cover and disconnect blue wire
going toward cross tube swivel
joint.
Step 11: Remove 3/4” nut and place
two green striped 1/2” terminals on stud,
positioning wire terminals on seperate flat
spots of nut. Feed blue wire through nut
and replace nut on stud and tighten.
Step 12: Bend terminals over
to 90° to enable to lay flat on
nut edge.

Step 15: Feed fish wire from switch opening and past ball
pivot joint then feed the 22” green and yellow striped wire
thru ball pivot joint until it just bottoms out at cross tube.
(Keep wire straight and do not over push!) Gently push on
wire while pulling fish wire to get wire to go toward switch
opening.)

long ground wire.
Step 14: Feed 16” green / yellow
striped and blue wire through tube from
light end of tube until wire emerges
from power switch opening. Crimp #8
ring terminal (on switch end) to 16”
long green and yellow striped wire.

Align existing hole
with this hole
Step 17: Carefully drill hole with drill bit
#29 (.136) for a #8 screw next to switch
mounting hole, close to edge of opening. Test fit location so that the cover
hides the screw when assembled, yet
does not interfere with switch cover
internal mounting studs. Use template
for location placement.

Step 18: Assemble both ring terminals
to cross tube with #8 self tap screw.
(Note: switch has offset to one side,
so push terminals to side of switch
where there is the most space. Assembly of switch can be rotated if hole
is drilled at wrong location. Or re-drill
new hole in proper location.) Reinstall
switch cover.

Note:
For adequate clearance both ring terminals must be
put on with wire crimp facing away from nut so that
the terminal can be bent 90° against the flat of the
nut.

yellow striped wire with ½” ring
terminal over stud, feed blue and
brown wires through nut as shown.
Step 22: Crimp spade terminals on
brown wire extending from swivel
tube and assemble the electrical
connection splices.
Step 23: Assemble lamp tube joint,
bending ring terminal 90°. Reinstall
mounting screws to joint.

Step 26: Feed 16” ground wire thru
from pivot stop thru to main mounting
area near main pivot joint. The electrical connection will be made outside of
the down tube, near the mounting bolts.
Step 25: Feed 60” wire (for 8ft ceiling),
72” wire (for 9ft ceiling) from main pivot
stop thru down tube to ball pivot joint
opening.
Step 24: With cross bar and light assembled, remove ceiling tiles exposing
transformer box, and remove junction
box cover.
Step 27: Attach ground wire to terminal
block inside pivot stop, and feed wire to
main pivot stop. Assemble all electrical
connectors together at main pivot stop.
Step 28: Assemble junction box cover
and transformer box, and replace ceiling tiles to original position.

as high as possible on down tube, pull
blue and brown wires through top window
of down tube.
Step 34: Slide ball pivot sleeve down to
hide windows in tube and install screw.
Step 32: Install two screws used to
secure cross tube assembly
Step 33: Crimp ¼” tab terminal to end
of wire at opening and make connections to cross pivot ground wire.
Step 31: Carefully, assemble joint
together while not pinching wires and
tighten the mounting screws. Run wires
from cross tube through upper window
of down tube.
Note
There are three screw holes in cross tube;
two of the holes are larger and have a
courser thread. Use these two holes to
secure cross tube assembly.
Step 35: Reconnect electrical current at
circuit breaker and test light functions.
