Manual 8473741
ULTIMA combines the power of chlorinating
compounds and copper for immediate antialgae shock treatment as well as for extended
relief from algae. For best results, use ULTIMA in
the evening after pool use is discontinued for the
day. Reentry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 3 ppm of chlorine.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this
product in a manner inconsistent with its
labeling.
TOTAL CONTROL
S HOCK & A LGAECIDE
ULTIMA is not intended to replace a regular
algaecide maintenance program.
Use ULTIMA as follows:
• Shock Treats And Buffers pH
• Controls Algae
• Improves Water Clarity
• One Bottle Treats 20,000 Gallons
1 . Adjust pool water pH to 7.2 - 7.8 range with a total
water alkalinity range of 100 to 150 ppm each as determined by suitable test kits.
2 . To control pool water algae, distribute 3 pounds over
water surface for each 20,000 gallons of pool water. This will
raise pool water chlorine residual to 4 ppm for immediate
anti-algae shock treatment and add 1 ppm of chelated copper sulfate for extended algae relief.
3 . If algae persists, repeat dosage.
Unlike many other algaecides, this product will not combine with
and neutralize chlorine residuals already in the pool. This means
that this product and chlorine in your pool will work together rather
than destroying each other. In addition, this
product will not upset the pH balance of your pool - it is buffered.
