AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS Your fitting has been manufactured to a high quality finish therefore should be treated with care to preserve its visible appearance. All surface finishes will wear if not cleaned correctly, the recommended and safest way to clean your fitting is to wipe with a soft damp cloth. Stains can be removed using washing up liquid. All domestic cleaning products, including non-scratch cleaners, can damage the surface and appearance of your fitting. GUARANTEE All products are manufactured to the highest standards and a 5 year guarantee covers any defect in manufacture. NOTE: The 5-year guarantee on the valve is invalidated if damaged by any waterborne debris. (D2) (H) WATER PRESSURE CONTENTS This mixer is suitable for use at all supply pressures. However for optimum use both the hot and cold supplies should be reasonably balanced. If the fitting is installed at low pressure (tank fed), then the minimum distance from the outlet of the nozzle to the underside of the cold tank should be 2 metre to ensure adequate performance. 1. 2. 3. 4. N.B. This mixer is supplied with a single check valve fitted to the hot inlet. To comply with Water Regulations a further check valve should be fitted to the cold supply. Fit the spout (1) into the body (2), ensuring the spout is able to rotate freely (See Fig. 1a). Fit the mixer to the sink, using the plinths (3) above and backnuts (4) below, and connect the hot and cold water supplies. Fully open both valves, letting them run for a few minutes to check all joints and connections for leaks. Unscrew cap (a), remove indice (b), loosen handle screw (c) and lift off handle (d). Unscrew valve (e) and carefully clean seating, rubber washer and ceramic disc. Replace valve and handle then turn on the water supply.
