technical description
➤ Reminders NF label
According to the norm NFS 61-932 relative to the installation rules of the Fire Security System, “the supply and the control of the smoke
extraction should be done with a relay box complying to the NF S 61-937 (card XIII of appendix A)”.
This is applicable to all types of fans, fire classified or not, insofar as it contributes to the smoke extraction (insufflation, extraction,
applying overpressure). According to the order of the 3 May 1999, the relay boxes have to be certified NF from the 01/01/2000.
Which means they must comply with the Specific Regulations NF RP 278. The quality system as well as the manufacturing process
is audited according to this RP.
IE :
• A relay box with fan contributing to smoke extraction.
• The nominal intensity of the relay box is equal to the characteristics of contactors AC3 divided by 1.5.
• The phase control is necessary. It checks the voltage presence as well as the phases inversion at the front of the box.
• In case of power cut, the box memorises the previous state, when the supply comes back, the box will display defect 6 “loss network
voltage” and will continue in its previous state that it will have memorised.
• The insulation control is integrated in the box.
➤ Compliance
• Label NF Relay box is n°1 holder.
➤ Compliance CE declaration
• The Ordinys® 3 complies to the low voltage directive.

CR1 : cable resistant to fire.
C2 : cable that doesn’t spread flames.
Connections according to the norm NF-S-61-932.
In the case of Ordinys® 3 Comfort Integrated smoke extraction (CIDAR), the comfort control accessory is integrated to the box Ordinys®
and it will be sufficient to connect a remote control to pilot this accessory.
➤ Installation
• Ordinys® 3 : It has to be installed outside of the security zone that it serves. It can be installed outside (IP 65).
• The rearmament case must be in the security zone corresponding to the controlled DAS. When the fan serves several zones,
1 box can be used, in this case, it must be installed in a protected premises.
• The control box of the fireman control device : it must be placed in a protected premises.
It is often placed in the CMSI premises, or any other place recommended by firemen.
• The proximity switch : it will be at least 2 meters from the fan and will have a position report.
• Use only for rearmament cases and remoted controlled fireman control device cases of the France Air range to respect the compliance.
• Reminder : complying to §8.4.1 of the NF-S-61932, the box has to be installed outside the security zone(s) served by the fan that it
controls.

ordinys® 3
1. Ordinys® 3 complies to the NFS 61-937
. Rearmament case with key enables the bringing back of Ordinys® 3 from it’s security position to it’s stand by position.
2
It’s a switch with key level 2 access.
3. Air flow control (control with pallet or differential pressostat).
4. Remote control case of the fireman control device. It’s a switch with key level 2 access.
5. Padlockable proximity switch with information return imposed by the work regulation.
6. Smoke extraction fan.
7. Comfort control accessory ensuring a comfort ventilation when Ordinys® 3 is in stand by position.
8. CMSI : Removal from fire area centralizer. It receives information from fire detection systems and transmits to Ordinys® 3 the smoke extraction
order (security passage). This order is a remote control signal 24 or 48 Vcc TBTS (Very low Security voltage) pulse or break of current.
Its US (signalisation Unit) also receives information transmitted by Ordinys® 3.
9. TGBT : General low voltage board.
10. Magnetic protection : only the magnetic protection is authorised on the supply line of a smoke extraction fan contrary to its comfort line
where the thermal protection is to be foreseen.
