TheModel45A00-1SupervisedWirelessReceiverallowsupto64uniquewirelesssecuritytransmitterstoreport
informationtoanLevitoncontroller.Thewirelesstransmittersreplacewireddoorandwindowsensors,aswellas
wiredsmoke,motion,glassbreakdetectors,andhandheldkeyfobs.Thesetransmittersreportstatusinformation
tothe45A00-1Receiverwhich,inturn,processestheinformationandreportsittotheLevitoncontroller.

memorywhentheMode/Advanceswitchispressed.SetupModeisexitedwhentheMode/Advanceswitchispressed
andheldfortwoseconds.
Number of Addresses
Next,youarepromptedtoenterthe“numberofaddresses”(seetheSetupinformationinthisdocumentfor
configurationofeachcontroller).Theletter“n”isshownontheleftofthedisplayandthedigitforthecurrentnumber
ofaddressesisshownontherightofthedisplay.PresstheSetswitchtoincrementthenumberofaddressesvalue.
ThecurrentnumberofaddresseswillbestoredintomemorywhentheMode/Advanceswitchispressed.SetupMode
isexitedwhentheMode/Advanceswitchispressedandheldfortwoseconds.
Configuring Transmitters
Allofthefollowinglocationsareusedforconfiguringandprogrammingtransmitters.Eachnewtransmittercanbe
programmedintothereceiverandeachprogrammedtransmitter,alongwithitscharacteristics,isdisplayedandcan
bemodified.ThetransmitternumberisshownintheLEDDisplay.Ifnotransmitterisprogrammedinanaddress
location,neithertheModeLEDnortheTypeLEDwillbelit.Ifatransmitterisprogrammedinanaddresslocation:
1. TheModeLEDindicateswhetherthetransmittersendsrestoretransmissions.
• TheModeLEDisonifthetransmittersendsrestoretransmissions,andoffifitdoesn’t.
2. TheTypeLEDshowswhetherthetransmitterissupervised.
• TheTypeLEDisonsteadyifthetransmitterissupervised,andblinksifitisn’t.
TheSetswitchisusedtochangethecharacteristicsofaprogrammedtransmitter.EachpressoftheSetswitchcycles
througheachcombinationofsupervised,sendsrestores,ornotransmitterprogrammed.
TheMode/Advanceswitchisusedtoadvancetothenexttransmitteraddresslocation.SetupModeisexitedby
pressingandholdingtheMode/Advanceswitchfortwoseconds.
TEACHING THE RECEIVER A TRANSMITTER ADDRESS
Ifnotransmitterisprogrammedinanaddresslocation,anewtransmittermaybeprogrammedintothataddress
locationbyactivatingthedesiredtransmitter.Theactivatedtransmitterwillthenbeenteredintothataddresslocation.
Thetransmittermustbeactivatedaccordingtotheinstructionsthataccompanythetransmitter.
Basedonthetypeoftransmitter,thereceiverwilltrytosetthesupervisoryandrestorecharacteristicsthatare
appropriateforthattypeoftransmitter.ThesecanbechangedasdesiredusingtheSetswitch.
Onceatransmitterisprogrammedintoanaddresslocation,thetransmitteraddresswillbrieflyturnoffwhenever
atransmissionfromthattransmitterisreceived.Thiscanbeusedtoverifythatthecorrecttransmitterhasbeen
programmedandisoperatingreliably.
NOTE: ThecontrollerignoresthecurrentstatusofeachtransmitterwhilethereceiverisinSetupMode.
TRANSMITTER SETUP
1. PressandholdtheMode/Advancebuttonfortwo(2)seconds.
2. “A1”willappear.OnOmniLT,OmniII,andLumina“A1”isalwaysused.OnOmniProIIandLuminaProthe
addresswilldependonthenumberofexpansionenclosuresused(see“OmniProII/LuminaProSetup”formore
information).
3. PresstheMode/Advancebuttontosaveanychangesandproceed.
4. Next,“n1”willappear.Thevalueof“n”willdeterminethenumberofaddressesused.
5. PresstheMode/Advancebuttontosaveanychangesandproceed.
6. “1”willappear(1sttransmitteraddresslocation).Tripthetransmitter.Whenthe45A00-1receivesthe
transmission,the45A00-1willdisplaythedigit(transmitteraddress)withadotoneitherside(thedotsindicatethe
transmitter’scharacteristics).
7. PresstheMode/Advancebuttontosavethechangesandproceed.
8. “2”willappear(2ndtransmitteraddresslocation).Tripthetransmitter.Whenthe45A00-1receivesthe
transmission,the45A00-1willdisplaythedigit(transmitteraddress)withadotoneitherside(thedotsindicatethe
transmitter’scharacteristics).
9. PresstheMode/Advancebuttontosavethechangesandproceed.
10.Repeatforeachtransmitteraddress(1-64)untilalltransmittershavebeenprogrammed.
11.Afteralltransmittershavebeenprogrammed,replacethecover.
RESETTING OR REMOVING A TRANSMITTER
Toreplaceanexistingtransmitter,resetthecharacteristicsofatransmitter,orremoveatransmitter,enterSetupMode
asdescribedunder“TransmitterSetup”inthismanual.Whenthetransmitteraddresslocationappearsonthedisplay,
removethetransmitter’scharacteristicsbypressingtheSETbuttonuntiltherearenodots(blinkingorotherwise)on
eithersideoftheaddressnumber.Thetransmitterinnowremoved.Toreplacethetransmitter,simplytripthenew
transmitter.Whenthe45A00-1receivesthetransmission,the45A00-1willdisplaythedigit(transmitteraddress
location)withadotoneitherside(thedotsindicatethetransmitter’scharacteristics).
RESET MEMORY
Toerasealltransmittersfrommemoryandtoresettothefactorydefaultconfiguration,pressandholdboththeSet
andMode/Advanceswitchessimultaneouslyfor2seconds.Thedisplaywillshow“EE”.Ifyouchoosetocontinue,
pressandholdtheSetandMode/Advanceswitchessimultaneouslyfor2secondsonceagain.Memoryisresetatthe
endofthetwoseconds.
NOTE:Ifyouchoosenottoresetmemoryatthe“EE”display,don’tpressanykeysfor10seconds andthereceiver
willreturntoRunMode.
CONNECTING TO OMNILT
ConnectthereceivertotheOmniLTcontrollerusing4-conductor,22-gaugeorlargerwireasfollows:
1. Connectthe“A”and“B”terminalsofthe45A00-1tothe“YEL”(Yellow)and“GRN”(Green)terminalsunderthe
sectionmarked“CONSOLE”ontheOmniLTcontroller(Yellow=AandGreen=B).
2. Connectthe“+12”and“GND”terminalsofthe45A00-1tothe“RED”and“BLK”(Black)terminalsunderthe
sectionmarked“CONSOLE”ontheOmniLTcontroller(Red=+12VandBlack=GND).
