This guide presents the basic steps to set up and operate this device. For detailed installation instructions and specifications, refer to the user manual at manhattan-products.com.

Hardware and Driver Installation

1 Remove the 4 screws on the bottom of the enclosure (A) and lift off the

top (B).

2 Connect the hard drive to the SATA data and power connectors on the

enclosure, then secure it to the enclosure using the included screws (C).

3 Re-assemble the enclosure (D) using the 4 screws in Step 1.

4 Using the included USB cable, connect the enclosure (E) to a USB port on

the computer.

5 Press the Power button (F). Confirm the Power LED lights.

Your system will automatically detect the new hardware and complete the setup, confirmed when “USB Mass Storage Device” displays in the Device

Manager folder.

Software Installation

Note: This software doesn’t support Mac operating systems.

1 Load the included software CD. The PC Clone setup

wizard will automatically display. Note: If the wizard

doesn’t show, you can open it through the “setup.exe”

file on your desktop.

2 Click Install.

3 When the License Agreement displays, click Agree to

continue.

4 Click Install again.

5 When the Installation Complete message displays, click

OK to exit.

6 When the PC Clone EX icon displays on the desktop,

double-click it to launch the program (or go to Start / Programs / PC

Clone EX LIte on your desktop).

Backing Up Files

1 When the backup program is opened and the initial screen displays, select where you want to store your data, then click Save.

2 When prompted with the first backup confirmation window, click Yes.

3 When prompted with the second Backup confirmation, click OK or press

the Backup button on the enclosure.

4 When the “Completed without Error” message displays, click Close to

finish the backup operation.

Once you’ve selected your backup options, you can simply press the

Backup button on the enclosure (G) to copy files.

Hardware- und Treiberinstallation

1 Entfernen Sie die 4 Schrauben an der Unterseite des

Gehäuses (A) und nehmen Sie die Oberseite ab (B).

2 Schließen Sie die Festplatte an die SATA-Daten- und

Stromsteckverbinder des Gehäuses an, dann fixieren

Sie sie mit den beiliegenden Schrauben (C).

3 Setzen Sie das Gehäuse (D) mit den 4 Schrauben aus

Schritt 1 wieder zusammen.

4 Schließen Sie das Gehäuse (E) mit dem beiliegenden

USB-Kabel an den USB-Port Ihres PCs an.

5 Drücken Sie den Netzschalter (F). Prüfen Sie, ob die

Power-LED leuchtet.

Sobald das Laufwerk an Ihren PC angeschlossen ist, erkennt Ihr System die neue Hardware automatisch und führt die Installation durch. Anschließend befindet sich der Eintrag “USB-Massenspeicher” in der

Gerätemanager-Liste.

Softwareinstallation

Hinweis: Die “One-Touch Copy”-Eigenschaft wird auf

Mac-Systemen nicht unterstützt.

1 Legen Sie die beiliegende Software-CD ein. Der PC

Clone Installationsassistent startet automatisch.

Hinweis: Ist dies nicht der Fall, können Sie ihn über

die Datei “setup.exe” starten.

2 Klicken Sie auf Installieren.

3 Wenn die Lizenzvereinbarung eingeblendet wird,

klicken Sie auf Weiter.

4 Klicken Sie erneut auf Installieren.

5 Wenn die Meldung Installation abgeschlossen

erscheint, klicken Sie auf OK.

6 Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol PC Clone EX auf

Ihrem Desktop, um das Programm zu starten (oder

über Start / Programme / PC Clone EX LIte).

Dateisicherung

1 Wenn das Backup-Programm geöffnet ist und der

Startbildschirm erscheint, wählen Sie das

Zielverzeichnis, dann klicken Sie auf Save.

2 Wenn das erste Backup-Bestätigungsfenster

eingeblendet wird, klicken Sie auf Ja.

3 Wenn Sie die zweite Backup-Bestätigung erhalten,

klicken Sie auf OK oder drücken Sie die Backup-

Taste am Festplattengehäuse.

4 Wenn die “Completed without Error”-Nachricht

erscheint, klicken Sie auf Schließen, um den Backup-

Vorgang abzuschließen.

Sobald Sie Ihre Backup-Optionen ausgewählt haben,

können Sie einfach die Backup-Taste am Festplatten-

gehäuse (G) drücken, um Dateien zu kopieren.

Montaje e Instalación del Disco

1 Retire los 4 tornillos de la parte inferior del gabinete

(A) y retire la parte superior (B).

2 Conecte el disco duro al conector SATA de datos y

energía en el gabinete, asegúrelo al gabinete

utilizando los tornillos incluidos (C).

3 Ensamble nuevamente el gabinete (D) utilizando los 4

tornillos del Paso 1.

4 Utilice el cable USB incluido, conecte el gabinete (E) a

un puerto USB en la computadora.

5 Presione el botón de encendido (F). Verifique que el

LED de encendido se ilumina .

Una vez que el gabinete esta conectado a la Pc, el sistema detectara automáticamente el nuevo hardware y completará la instalación, confirme que en el administrador de dispositivos se muestre “USB Mass

Storage Device”.

Instalación del Software

Nota: La característica de copia con un solo toque no es soportada en sistemas Mac .

1 Inserte el CD del software incluido. El asistente de

instalación para PC Clone se mostrará en pantalla. Nota:

Si el asistente no se muestra, puede abrir el archivo

“setup.exe” directamente desde el disco de instalación.

2 Haga clic en Instalar.

3 Cuando aparezca el Acuerdo de Conformidad de la

licencia, haga clic en Acordar para continuar.

4 Haga clic en Instalar nuevamente.

5 Cuando aparezca el mensaje de Instalación

Completada, haga clic en Aceptar para salir.

6 El icono de PC Clone EX deberá aparecer en el escritorio,

haga doble clic para abrir el programa (o haga clic en

el botón Inicio / Todos los programas / PC Clone EX Lite).

Respaldo de Archivos

1 Cuando el programa para respaldar este abierto y se

muestre la pantalla de inicio, seleccione la ubicación

para guardar sus archivos, y haga clic en Guardar.

2 Aparecerá un aviso para confirmar el respaldo, haga

clic en Si.

3 Aparecerá un segundo aviso para confirmar el

respaldo, haga clic en Aceptar o presione el botón

“Backup” del Gabinete.

4 Cuando se muestre el mensaje “Completed without

Error”, haga clic en Cerrar para terminar la operación

de respaldo.

Una vez que haya seleccionado las opciones de respaldo,

puede simplemente presionar el botón “Backup” del

gabinete (G) para copiar los archivos.

FRANÇAIS – Boîtier pour lecteur de disque

Installation matériel et pilote

1 Dévissez les 4 vis au dessous du boîtier (A) et soulevez le surface (B).

2 Connectez le disque dur aux connecteurs de donnés et alimentation dans le boîtier, puis fixez le avec les vis incluses (C).

3 Utilisez les 4 vis de l’étape 1 pour assembler le boîtier (D).

4 Utilisez le câble USB inclus pour connecter le boîtier (E) au port USB de

votre ordinateur.

5 Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (F). Confirmez que la DEL est allumée.

Dès que le Boîtier est connecté à votre ordinateur, votre système identifie et installe le pilote automatiquement. Après que l’installation soit complète, l’entrée “Appareil USB de mémoire de masse” apparaît dans la liste du Gestionnaire du périphérique.

Software Installation

Remarque: Cette fonction (copie en une touche) non prise en charge par les systèmes Mac.

1 Insérez le CD de logiciel inclus. L’assistant d’installation PC Clone

s’affiche automatiquement. Remarque: Si ce n’est pas le cas, vous

pouvez l’accéder via le fichier “setup.exe”.

2 Cliquez sur Installer.

3 Quand le Contrat de License s’affiche, cliquez sur Prochain pour

continuer.

4 Cliquez sur Installer à nouveau.

5 Quand le message Installation Complète s’affiche, cliquez sur OK pour

quitter.

6 Quand le symbole PC Clone EX s’affiche sur le bureau, double-cliquez-le

pour lancer le programe (ou accédez-le via Démarrer / Programmes /

PC Clone EX LIte).

Archiver des fichiers

1 Quand le programme d’archivage est ouvert et l’écran initial s’affiche,

sélectionnez où vous voudriez sauvegarder vos donnés, puis cliquez

Enregistrer.

2 Quand le premier message de confirmation sur l’archivage s’affiche,

cliquez sur Oui.

3 Quand le deuxième message de confirmation sur l’archivage s’affiche,

cliquez sur OK ou appuyez sur le bouton Backup sur le boîtier.

6 Quand le message “Completed without Error” s’affiche, cliquez sur

Fermer pour finir le processus d’archivage.

• Dès que vous avez sélectionné vos options d’archivage, vous pouvez

simplement appuyer sur le boîtier (G) pour copier des fichiers.

Ta instrukcja przedstawia podstawowe kroki konfiguracji i obsługi urządzenia. Szczegółowe instrukcje instalacji i specyfikacji można znaleźć na stronie manhattan-products.com.

Podłączenie oraz instalacja sterownika

1 Odkręć 4 śrubki znajdujące się na spodniej części obudowy (A),

następnie zdejmij jej górną część (B).

2 Podłącz dysk twardy do portu SATA oraz zasilania w obudowie,

następnie przykręć dysk do obudowy używając dołączonych śrubek (C).

3 Załóż górną część obudowy (D) i zabezpiecz ją śrubkami.

4 Przy użyciu dołączonego kabla podłącz obudowę (E) do wolnego portu

USB komputera.

5 Włącz urządzenie przyciskiem Power (F). Sprawdź, czy zapaliła się dioda

sygnalizacyjna.

System automatycznie wykryje nowe urządzenie i zainstaluje odpowiednie sterowniki. Poprawność instalacji można sprawdzić w panelu „Menadżer urządzeń” – obudowa pojawi się na liście jako „Urządzenie magazynujące

USB”.

Instalacja oprogramowania

Uwaga: Oprogramowanie nie jest obsługiwane przez systemy Mac.

1 Załaduj dołączoną płytę CD z oprogramowaniem. Automatycznie

powinien zostać wyświetlony instalator PC Clone. Uwaga: Jeśli instalator

nie zostanie wyświetlony automatycznie, uruchom „setup.exe” z

zawartości płyty CD.

2 Click Install.

3 Zaakceptuj warunki umowy licencyjnej, wciśnij Agree, aby kontynuować.

4 Ponownie wciśnij Install.

5 Po pojawieniu się komunikatu o zakończeniu instalacji wciśnij OK.

6 Uruchom program z ikony PC Clone EX na pulpicie (lub z menu Start ->

Programy -> PC Clone EX).

Kopia zapasowa plików

1 Gdy program jest uruchomiony i wyświetlone jest menu początkowe,

wybierz docelowe miejsce zapisu danych, a następnie wciśnij Save.

2 Po pojawieniu się pierwszego komunikatu o wykonaniu kopii wciśnij Yes.

3 Po pojawieniu się drugiego komunikatu o wykonaniu kopii kliknij OK

lub wciśnij przycisk Backup na obudowie.

4 Po pojawieniu się komunikatu „Completed without error” wciśnij

Close, aby zakończyć proces wykonywania kopii zapasowej.

Po skonfigurowaniu opcji wykonywania kopii, można po prostu wcisnąć

przycisk Backup na obudowie (G) aby skopiować pliki.

Installazione dell’hardware e dei driver

1 Rimuovere le 4 viti dal fondo dell’alloggiamento (A) e sollevare la parte

superiore (B).

2 Collegare il disco rigido al connettore SATA di alimentazione e dati

dell’alloggiamento, poi fissare il disco all’alloggiamento con le viti in

dotazione usando il cacciavite incluso nella confezione (C).

3 Riassemblare l’alloggiamento (D) utilizzando le 4 viti dello step 1.

4 Utilizzare il cavo USB incluso per collegare il box (E) alla porta USB del

computer.

5 Premere il tasto di accensione (F). Verificare che il LED di accensione si

illumini.

Appena il box viene connesso al PC, il sistema automaticamente rileva il nuovo hardware e completa il settaggio, confermando quando l “USB

Mass Storage Device” appare nella cartella di Gestione delle Periferiche.

Installazione del Software

Nota: Questo software non supporta i sistemi operativi Mac.

1 Inserire il CD incluso contenente il software. La procedura guidata di

installazione per PC Clone verrà visualizzata automaticamente.

2 Cliccare Install.

3 Quando appare l’accordo di licenza, cliccare Agree per continuare.

4 Cliccare nuovamente Install.

5 Quando comparirà sullo schermo il messaggio di installazione avvenuta,

cliccare OK per uscire.

6 Quando l’immagine PC Clone EX verrà visualizzata sulla schermata del

andare su Start / Programs / PC Clone EX Lite nel vostro desktop).

Backup dei file

1 Quando il programma di backup è aperto e viene visualizzata la

schermata iniziale, selezionare dove si desidera memorizzare i dati,

quindi cliccare su Save.

2 Quando appare sullo schermo la prima richiesta di conferma backup,

cliccare

3 Quando viene richiesta la seconda conferma di backup, cliccare OK o

premere il pulsante di Backup sul dispositivo.

4 Quando compare il messaggio “Completed without Error”, cliccare

Close per terminare l’operazione di backup.

Dopo aver selezionato le opzioni di backup, è sufficiente premere il

pulsante Backup sul dispositivo (G) per copiare i file.
