Remove the cover on top of the unit, and set the statlon number (#01 to #64) using the rotary
switches. The RtoN-16NT can occupy only one statlon.
The same station number
is used forInput

To detect a communication ermr (i.e. communlcations stoppage)at theFXON, follow this procedure.
1. Connect the F X O N - ~6NT ECM terminal to the 246 terminal.
Note: If a communication error OCCUIS, all the input points of the F X O N - ~6NT will reset.
2. Select one of the input signal points of the FXoN-16NT (Xn*), and set the A Sen- program so
that the selected input slgnal point is always ON.
3. On theFXoN side, Xn* is on during normal communication. If a communicatlon error is detected,
Xn* will be turned OFF. From thisONOFF status change, a communcatton error canbe detected.
