Allen-Bradley 1771 OND, 1771 A1B, A4B, 1771 ASB, 1771, 1771, 1771 IND, IN, 1771 WH, 1771 WHF Installation Instructions

Below you will find brief information for AC Output Module 1771 OND, I/O chassis 1771 A1B, I/O chassis 1771 A4B, remote I/O adapter 1771 ASB. The 1771 OND module is designed to be used with a 1771-A1B thru -A4B or later I/O chassis. It can also be used with a 1771-ASB remote I/O adapter, but you must make sure that no other output module or single card block transfer module is placed in the same I/O group. The module requires 700mA of power from the chassis power supply. You can use the module to directly drive terminals on an AC (24V) Input Module (cat. no. 1771-IND). You can also use a 1771-OND Output module to drive an AC (24V) Input Module (cat. no. 1771-IN), but you must connect a 250 ohm, 5W resistor between the output terminal and L2 (common).

Frequently asked questions

This module must be used with a 1771-A1B thru -A4B or later I/O chassis.

The module requires 700mA from the output of the chassis power supply.

Yes, but you must make sure that no other output module is placed in the same I/O group.

You can use the module to directly drive terminals on an AC (24V) Input Module (cat. no. 1771-IND). To drive a 1771-IN Input Module, you must connect a 250 ohm, 5W resistor between the output terminal and L2 (common).
