The MPS Air Valve Diode is to prevent voltage spikes that activate the kill a second time when the air valve coil is discharged. To prevent the unwanted double kill install the diode as shown below.

Clip the wire taps to each wire on the electric air valve. Plug the red end to the wire that has continuous 12 volt positive. Plug the blue end to the wire that is connected to the blue wire on the kill box.
