Frequently asked questions

The BUDGIT Series 6000 Air Hoists are available in three capacity sizes: 1, 2, and 3 ton.

All models use coil type load chain.

Connect the hoist to the nearest filtered and lubricated air source using a 3/4" I.D. air hose. A filter and lubricator unit must be installed between the air source and the hoist.

The recommended operating air pressure for all capacities of BUDGIT Air Hoists is 90 psi.

Use Automatic Transmission Fluid DEXRON® Type. This is an all weather oil.

Under ordinary conditions, only weekly attention will be necessary. Under hot and dirty conditions it may be necessary to clean the chain at least once a day and lubricate it several times between cleanings.

The gearcase oil should be changed every six months or 500-750 hours of operation.
