Proper installation is essential to experience and appreciate the benefits of this system. Please take a moment to
review these installation instructions before you begin to install these components on your vehicle. The removal and
installation of suspension products should only be performed by a fully qualified, ASE Certified, professional.
It is equally important to be aware of all necessary safety measures while installing your new Suspension System.
This includes proper lifting and immobilizing of the vehicle and isolation of any stored energy to prevent personal
injury or property damage.
WARNING: The air suspension system is under pressure (up to 10 bar, or 150 lbf/in). Verify pressure
has been relieved and disconnect power to the air suspension system prior to disassembly. Do not allow
dirt or grease to enter the system. Always wear standard hand, ear, and eye protection when servicing the
air suspension system.

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle securely lifted
remove the rear wheels using a
22mm lug wrench.
2. Squeeze the rear air-spring
to assure that all air has been
released.
3. Pull downwards on the airspring to compress and tilt the top
outwards to gain access to the
air-line fitting.

4. Using a 12mm wrench disconnect
the air-line from the air-spring.
5. Using a hammer strike the bottom
of the air-spring from beneath the
lower control arm to dislodge it.
6. Remove the air-spring from the
vehicle.*Note* there should be a thin
rubber isolator attached to the
vehicle body where the top end of the
air-spring was positioned, leave this
isolator in place.

7. Locate the ride position sensor
link and disconnect its ball and
socket connection at the lower
control arm.
Note* A small screwdriver may aid
in disconnecting.
8. Locate the wheel sensor harness
and remove it from the clips on the
link arm. *Note* The clips are a ziptie style and may need to be cut to
remove the harness wire,
replacement zip-ties are included in
the kit.
9. Once the clips are cut the ends
can pulled out with a set of pliers.

10. Place a jack or lift support
under the lower control arm to
support.
11. Using 23mm and 21mm
wrenches remove the shock
absorbers lower mounting bolt.
12. Using 18mm wrenches remove
the bolt connecting the upper
camber-link arm to the knuckle
assembly.

13. Using 18mm wrenches remove
the bolt connecting the toe-link arm
to the knuckle assembly.
14. Using 18mm and 8mm wrenches
disconnect the stabilizer bar endlink from the lower control arm.
Note* A pry-bar can be placed
between the vehicle chassis and the
stabilizer bar and used as needed to
remove pressure from the end-link
for removal.
15. Lower the control arm
downwards. *Note* Watch the
brake line while lowering, do not
over extend or damage may result.

16. Remove the fender liner
retaining clip near the shock
absorber.
17. Pull back the fender liner and
using a 16mm wrench remove the (2)
upper shock absorber mounting
bolts. *Note* The (2) mounting bolts
will be reused.
18. Remove the shock absorber from
the vehicle.

1. Acquire a Strutmasters
replacement shock absorber. Reuse
or Replace original shock mount.
2. Place the shock absorber into
position and install the (2) mounting
bolts using a 16mm wrench and
tighten completely, also install the
fender liner retaining clip.
3. Install the lower spring seat assembly onto the spring pocket on the lower
control arm. Ensure the puck assembly bolt has been tightened.
4. Install the Strutmasters included
rubber spring isolator on the larger
bottom end of the spring.

5. Install the larger bottom end
with isolator onto the lower
spring seat, on top of the puck
assembly from step 3.
6.Raise the lower control arm
and position the smaller top end
of the coil spring into the factory
isolator and around the chassis
locator.
*Note* The lower control arm
may need to be pressed
downwards to install the top of
the coil spring into position.

7. Raise the lower control arm
until it is aligned with the shock
absorbers lower mount.
8. Install the shock absorbers
lower mounting bolt and tighten
completely using 23mm and
21mm wrenches.
9. Place the toe-link back into
position at the knuckle
assembly, install the mounting
bolt and tighten completely
using 18mm wrenches.
10. Place the camber-link back into
position, install the mounting bolt
and tighten completely using 18mm
wrenches.

11. Connect the stabilizer bar endlink to the lower control arm and
tighten completely using 8mm and
18mm wrenches. *Note* It may
necessary to use a pry-bar between
the stabilizer bar and vehicle
chassis to align the end-link to the
control arm.
12. Reconnect the ride position
sensor’s link arm at the lower
control arm.
13. Using the provided zip-ties,
secure the wheel sensor
harness to the link-arm.

14. Confirm that all
hardware has been
tightened completely.
15. Repeat all steps for the
remaining side of the vehicle,
install the wheels and torque
using a 22mm lug wrench.
