Keep this quick guide. Always include this quick guide when passing the
product on to third parties.

Heed all warnings and follow all instructions in this quick guide.
•
Only clean the product and the DC power supply when they are not connected
to the mains. Use a cloth for cleaning.
•
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use the product and
the DC power supply near water and do not expose them to rain or moisture.
Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases or coffee cups, on the
product.
•
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required if the product or the DC power supply have been damaged
in any way, liquid has been spilled, objects have fallen inside, the product or the
DC power supply have been exposed to rain or moisture, do not operate
properly or have been dropped.
•
Only use the required WiCOS NT-AP DC power supply.
•
Unplug the DC power supply from the wall socket,
– to completely disconnect the product from the mains,
– during lightning storms or
– when unused for long periods of time.
•
Only operate the DC power supply from the type of power source specified in
the chapter “Specifications” on the leaflet.
•
Ensure that the DC power supply is
– in a safe operating condition and easily accessible,
– properly plugged into the wall socket,
– only operated within the permissible temperature range,
– not covered or exposed to direct sunlight for longer periods of time in order
to prevent heat accumulation (see “Specifications” on the leaflet).
Do not place the product and the DC power supply near any heat sources such
as radiators, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Do not overload wall outlets and extension cables as this may result in fire and
electric shock.

Only use replacements parts and attachments/accessories specified by
Sennheiser. Unauthorized replacement parts may result in fire, electric shock,
or other hazards.

WiCOS AP access point
The WiCOS AP access point is part of the WiCOS wireless conference system.

The access point controls the communication of the WiCOS D, DV, C and CV delegate
and chairman units. The access point has an integrated web server for configuring
the complete WiCOS conference system.
The access point can be integrated into a network and allows you to expand the
wired SDC 8200 conference and interpretation system with the wireless WiCOS
conference units.

For stand-alone operation of the WiCOS AP access point, you additionally require
the WiCOS NT-AP DC power supply (Cat. No. 502897).
For conferencing, you require any number of WiCOS D, DV, C or CV conference units
in addition to the access point.

In order to configure the WiCOS AP access point and with it the complete WiCOS
conference system, you have to call up the web server of the access point. For this,
you require a computer with network connection (RJ 45). For more information on
the web server, refer to the detailed instruction manual.
왘 Use the supplied network cable (Cat5) to connect the network socket (RJ 45)
of the access point to your computer.
왘 Make sure that your computer is set to the same address range as the access
point (IP range: 192.168.0.xxx, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0).
왘 In the address box of the browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox), type the
IP address of the access point “192.168.0.10”.
The web server appears and prompts for a password.
