1. General

The adapter contains an 8-pin modular connection, internally connected to 8 screw connections.

2. Range of application

The adaptor is used for the preheating or Xzone function together with a standard Swegon electric air heater with control cable.

3. Function

The modular connection’s contact springs are connected to the relevant connection screw for an external cable.

The adaptor connects a modular connector on a cable to an electric air heater, with the relevant leads for connection to the IQnomic Plus module.

4. Installation

Secure the adaptor to an appropriate place. Use the screws or the plate with double-adhesive tape supplied with the adaptor.

If a higher tightness class is required, the adaptor must be placed in the TBLZ-1-61 junction box, see figure. Run the cables through the cable gland screw caps. Tighten the screw caps until they are fit tightly around the cables.

N.B.! The junction box must by mounted upright with the screw caps facing downward!

6. Electrical Connections

The electrical connections are to be wired by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical safety regulations.

* 24 V AC supply voltage is required for air heaters with a rated output of more than 20 kW/230 V

(Norway) and 34 kW/400 V.

24 V AC supply voltage can be supplied from the air handling unit control unit.

GOLD RX/PX/CX/SD: terminals 60 (G) and 61 (G0).

GOLD LP/COMPACT: terminals 9 (G) and 10 (G0).

** Digital temperature sensors require correct polarity. Be careful when you wire the conductors.
