Frequently Answers and Questions

How do I adjust the coverage pattern of the intrusion detector?

You can adjust the coverage pattern both vertically and horizontally. To vertically position the pattern, loosen the Vertical Adjust screw and slide the circuit board up or down, then tighten the screw. To adjust the pattern horizontally, rotate the lens window left or right. Remember to walk test the unit after making any adjustments.

What are the different LED colors and their meanings?

The tri-color LED indicates different alarm and supervision trouble conditions. Steady red indicates a unit alarm or a stored alarm. Steady yellow indicates microwave activation. Steady green indicates PIR activation. Flashing red indicates warm-up calibration, motion monitor time-out, Anti-Mask detection, or a failure in the microwave or PIR subsystem. Refer to the LED Operation section in the document for more details.

How do I use the Memory feature?

To use the Memory feature, cut the Memory Jumper. This will also activate the Microwave Inhibit function, which eliminates microwave transmissions during disarmed periods. When voltage is applied to terminal 8, any stored alarm is cleared from memory, and the next alarm will be stored.
