Component(s) to Check
Indicates error in the control circuitry ........................... Ohm sensor and harness resistance (see Table 2
below), check door lock mechanism, harness,
switch connections, inspect membrane.
Sensor/sensor circuitry................................................. Test for proper resistance value. Also check for
frayed/pinched wiring, or connector damage.
Replace as necessary. At room temperature, the
probe’s resistance should be 1050 -1100 ohms.
DO NOT REPLACE CONTROL.
Door lock circuitry fault sensed .................................... Check the door lock switch wiring and lock
assembly, adjust or replace as needed. DO NOT
REPLACE CONTROL. This fault code appears
if control is unable to recognize the opening and
closing of the door lock switches at the proper
times. Control is looking for a signal back from
the door lock system circuitry to ensure door is in
the proper position for the function chosen.
Oven temperature above 650˚ F when bake/broiling... Check door lock, oven sensor, and harness.
If ok, replace control.
Oven temperature above 905˚ F during cleaning ........ Check door lock, oven sensor, and harness.
If ok, replace control.
Shorted sensor ............................................................. Ohm sensor and harness.
Keyboard disconnected................................................ Inspect ribbon and ensure it is making a good
connection. If ok, replace control.
Cancel key out of specification..................................... Replace control.
Relay activated............................................................. Replace control.
Microprocessor not sensed .......................................... Replace control.
Option or sensor input failure ....................................... Inspect ribbon and ensure it is making a good
connection. Ohm sensor & harness and ensure
