Magnetek Battery Charger Instruction Sheet

Magnetek Battery Charger is a versatile charging solution for Flex Transmitters, offering convenient and efficient charging. With its 12-24 VDC input, it can be used in various settings, including in-car charging with the factory-approved cigarette lighter adapter (part number CIG-01). For stationary use, it supports 100-240 VAC power transformers with 12 VDC output.

The charger features two charging outputs, each with a dedicated status LED. When a charging cable is plugged into the battery pack, the corresponding LED will indicate the charging progress - blinking green during charging and solid green when charging is complete. The total charging time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Operating Instructions

1. Insert the battery pack (part number BAT-01) into the transmitter.

2. When the charging unit (part number CHR-01) is initially powered on, both LED-A and LED-B will blink green two or three times (indicating that the charger is in good working order) and then stop

(indicating standby mode).

3. Plug the charging cable (output A or B) into the battery pack charging input slot.

4. When the charging cable is plugged in, the associated status LED will blink green two or three times again, followed by continuous fast blinks (indicating charging in progress) for 10 to 15 seconds.

5. When charging is completed, the associated LED status will light up as solid green.

6. When the charging cable is unplugged, the associated LED will turn off (indicating standby mode).

NOTE: The total charging time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

7. For in-car charging (12-24 VDC), us the factory approved cigarette lighter adaptor (part number

CIG-01).

8. Use only factory approved 100-240 VAC power transformers with 12 VDC output, as unapproved power transformers on the market may not be compatible with this charging unit.
