Frequently asked questions

You can adjust the cutting height on each axle in 6 levels of 30 mm up to 100 mm. To adjust the cutting height, switch off the engine and wait until the blade has come to a standstill. Then, unlock the grip bar at the front axle by pressing the touch handle and swivel the grip bar to the desired position. Repeat this process for the rear axle.

To start the device, ensure the fuel valve and tank ventilation are open. Plug on the spark plug connector. For a cold start, close the choke at the carburetor and press the tickler until fuel is seen to drip. Put the accelerator lever to the lowest engine speed position, actuate and hold the engine brake lever, and pull the starter rope slowly out until you feel resistance. Then, pull out quickly and let the starter rope retract slowly. Once the engine is running, open the choke and set the accelerator lever to the desired speed.

Use a mixture of two-stroke oil and unleaded petrol (octane rating at least ROZ 91). The recommended mixing ratio is 1:100 with Titan 2T 100S two-stroke oil. You can also use ready-mixed two-stroke fuels such as STIHL Motomix 1:50 and ASPEN 2-stroke.

After each use, clean the device thoroughly, especially the bottom side and the blade. Remove stuck grass or dirt as they can affect the grass discharge and cutting quality. Also, keep the engine cover, ventilation grid, and the engine clean to ensure sufficient engine cooling.
