A111V2 is an active (powered) composite video extender, with color transmission range up to 6562ft (2000m). MODE1: Lock-in gain suitable for most applications, if needed you can re-equalize signal by moving switch to Mode2 then back to Mode1 to lock-in signal strength.

MODE2: Auto gain is suitable for special applications, if needed this mode will automatically detect cable length and continuously re-equalize signal.

Transient Protection:

This unit has built-in transient protection, please make sure units are properly grounded or they might be destroyed from high voltage surges from nearby lightning strikes.

Troubleshooting:

All transmission distances mentioned above are without image processor connected (ex. Quad, Multiplexer, DVR, etc.)

The transmission range can be reduce between 328-656ft (100-200m approximately) depending on the type or specs of camera, cable, DVR, models used…

1. This product is designed for long range transmission, if used at shorter distances the signal can be over amplified and cause poor picture quality. It is recommended to use A111V2 with a range greater than 328ft (100m), or look at our passive video extenders for shorter range transmission as well as cost savings.

2. Transmitter has a "slide switch" for different frequency level adjustment depending on distance and receiver has a slide switch for fixed or auto gain mode. Please switch to appropriate level depending on your application to avoid a weak or bad image.

3. For color camera transmission, the color signal will degrade upon longer distances, please set video gain switch according to diagram.

Warning: Long range cable runs can be subject to high voltage surges from near by lighting strikes. Please look at our special application surge protectors for added protection to your system design.
