Overview:
The dual IFB (Interrupted Foldback Option Board for Radio Systems Millenium consoles allows up to two stereo
headphone or other Program type stereo signals to be interrupted ()superseded) by another stereo signal - typically a
mic feed for “squawk” communication
Two dual IFB boards may be wired in tandem to increase the number of supported outputs (guests) from two to four.
Control:
All outputs may be switched and controlled individually be connecting 4 buttons of the Millenium console’s selector
switch to the IFB board(s) Or, all outputs may be switched together by wiring and using the single Millenium console
“Talk-Back” front panel switch.
Wiring:
Either unbalanced signals (from Millenium Analog console loop-trough points) or balanced signals from Millenium
console Utility outputs may be utilized as the IFB input. In Digital consoles, use the set-up screens to program the
Utility output for correct pre or post fader operation. Use on-board level sets ( R27, R30, R43-46) to adjust and match
IFB and main input levels.
