(J6 uses RS part# 18404 & J7 uses cable - RS part #18408) FOR SINGLE IFB BOARD (UP TO 2 GUEST) USE Out 1 Left Out 1 Right To Console Monitor Board J1 Do Not Use Secondary Out 2 Right Primary Out 2 Left Wire to these connectors (in place of J6) to use console selector switches 1 thru 4 for Talk-To selection FOR DUAL IFB BOARD (UP TO 4 GUEST) USE Connect to second IFB Board J8 (Use cable RS part #18405) To Console Monitor Board J1 (Use cable RS part #11043) Overview: The dual IFB (Interrupted Foldback Option Board for Radio Systems Millenium consoles allows up to two stereo headphone or other Program type stereo signals to be interrupted ()superseded) by another stereo signal - typically a mic feed for “squawk” communication Two dual IFB boards may be wired in tandem to increase the number of supported outputs (guests) from two to four. Control: All outputs may be switched and controlled individually be connecting 4 buttons of the Millenium console’s selector switch to the IFB board(s) Or, all outputs may be switched together by wiring and using the single Millenium console “Talk-Back” front panel switch. Wiring: Either unbalanced signals (from Millenium Analog console loop-trough points) or balanced signals from Millenium console Utility outputs may be utilized as the IFB input. In Digital consoles, use the set-up screens to program the Utility output for correct pre or post fader operation. Use on-board level sets ( R27, R30, R43-46) to adjust and match IFB and main input levels.
