Siemens ZMD120AM OptiSmart Electricity Meter Instructions
The Landis & Gyr Dialog/ Siemens ZMD120AM OptiSmart meter is a device used to monitor electricity consumption. It's designed to work with the OptiSmart Optical Reader, which is used to read the meter's data. The OptiSmart Optical Reader is attached to the meter's LED lens using a supplied metal washer. The LED on the OptiSmart optical head will flash in time with the electricity meter's impulse output, indicating a proper connection.

Connect the cable running from the OptiSmart optical head into the side of the supplied white Transmitter unit.
