HIGH FLOW, LOW PROFILE ELECTRIC REMOTE BALL INTAKE VALVE

aluminum high flow low profile ball intake valve shall be provided. The unit shall be equipped
with an adjustable pressure relief valve with visual pressure settings. An eight position adjustable
inlet elbow shall be located on the bottom of the valve. The valve shall be controlled by a remote
panel-mounted push-button switch with LED lights to indicate valve position. The valve can also
be controlled with an NFPA compliant slow-close knob. A 3/4" bleeder valve shall be provided
to exhaust excess air or water from the valve and hose line. A valve-mounted position indicator
shall be provided to allow for quick visualization of the status of the valve in the open, closed or
partial positions. For maximum corrosion protection the aluminum casting shall be hardcoat
anodized, with a powder coat internal and external finish. All components facing the wet side of
the valve shall be constructed from hardcoat anodized aluminum alloy with corrosion resistant
coating. The electronic controls shall be compatible with 12 or 24 volt DC systems.
The connections shall be: 5" Storz rigid with 30 degree swiveling detent elbow and a 6" female
NH swivel long handle connection and include polymer bearing strips for prevention of galvanic
corrosion. The Storz coupling shall be easily configurable to swivel from rigid. The unit shall be
covered by a ten-year warranty.
