RE: Fall Clean Up
It’s that time of year again! Time to get out the rake and work gloves and clean up
Mason County! To help with the clean up effort, Mason County Utilities and Waste
Management will be accepting the following wastes at no charge during October 17-31
at the Shelton and Belfair transfer stations: Yard debris—includes brush, leaves, grass
clippings, branches (up to 4” in diameter, and 6’ long); tires—4 off-rim passenger tires
per household; and old BBQ’s, lawn furniture, and fencing will also be accepted free of
charge at these two facilities.
** You must call to make an appointment first: Shelton Facility 427-5271; Belfair Facility
275-6462
Once again, several business in Mason County have shown their support of Fall Clean
Up by offering to take these materials free of charge during the following dates: Yard
Debris—Oct. 17-31: Bill McTurnal Enterprises, 721 Kamilche Ln, Shelton, 432-0971;
Oct. 24-31: Mason County Wood Recyclers, 351 Millwright Rd., Shelton, 432-9222.
Scrap Metal & Appliances—Oct 1-31: Shelton Auto Parts, 1501 Dayton Airport RD,
