Avvertenze:

Il produttore e la catena distributiva declinano ogni responsabilità per danni a cose e/o persone derivanti da un utilizzo improprio del navigatore o legati al mancato rispetto delle avvertenze e delle note inserite nella documentazione tecnica. L’uso del navigatore implica l’accettazione e l’osservanza del contenuto del presente manuale.

Il conducente del veicolo è responsabile dell’utilizzo del navigatore nella corretta modalità di funzionamento (passeggero o conducente).

L’utente deve ignorare le indicazioni fornite dal navigatore nel caso queste risultino in contrasto con il codice della strada. Il produttore e la catena distributiva non rispondono in caso di eventuali violazioni al codice stradale legate all’uso del prodotto.

I dati cartografici immagazzinati nel navigatore potrebbero presentare discrepanze rispetto agli itinerari reali. Ciò è dovuto ai continui cambiamenti nella morfologia stradale. Alcune zone sono inoltre caratterizzate, per diversi motivi, da una copertura cartografica maggiore rispetto ad altre.

Attenzione:

• Non fissare il navigatore in posizioni che ostruiscano la visuale del conducente.

• Non fissare il navigatore in posizioni che possano interferire con il corretto funzionamento della dotazione di sicurezza di bordo del veicolo (es. uscita airbag).

• Assicurarsi che il display sia ben fissato alla staffa prima di partire.

• Non affidarsi esclusivamente alle indicazioni vocali. Queste potrebbero risultare non corrette o non tempestive. Considerare sempre le informazioni fornite come indicative e rispettare la segnaletica stradale. I navigatori satellitari forniscono un semplice ausilio alla guida e all’orientamento. La corretta guida e la scelta del percorso migliore spettano sempre al conducente del veicolo.

• Durante il viaggio è possibile ricevere informazioni vocali del tipo:

‘’Tenere la destra’’ oppure ‘’Tra 300 metri gira a destra’’; queste indicazioni derivano da dati cartografici che a volte possono risultare poco pertinenti con la strada che si sta percorrendo. Porre particolare attenzione in prossimità di rotonde o grandi incroci: le indicazioni vocali potrebbero non essere semplici.

• Non distrarsi durante la guida per consultare il navigatore se questo comporta pericolo per voi o per gli altri. Per consultare il navigatore fermarsi non appena possibile e quindi agire sui comandi del navigatore.

• Effettuare le operazioni manuali sul navigatore esclusivamente a veicolo fermo.

• La precisione della posizione GPS, in condizioni di ricezione ottimale del segnale, è garantita con uno scarto di 15 metri.

Il contenuto del presente manuale è aggiornato a Aprile 2007 ed è soggetto a modifiche senza preavviso.

1. Introduzione

1.1 Smaltimento della batteria

Questo prodotto è dotato di batteria integrata agli ioni di litio. Non usare il prodotto in ambienti umidi e/o corrosivi. Per prolungare la durata della batteria la ricarica non viene effettuata a temperature superiori ai 60°C.

LA BATTERIA AGLI IONI DI LITIO CONTENUTA NEL

PRODOTTO DEVE ESSERE RICICLATA O DISMESSA IN

MANIERA CORRETTA.

RAEE: Rifiuti di Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche

Il simbolo riportato qui a sinistra e sulla confezione indica la conformità alla direttiva WEEE (RAEE). Non smaltire i RAEE come rifiuti urbani; alcune sostanze contenute nelle apparecchiature elettroniche possono essere dannose per l’ambiente e per la salute umana in seguito ad un uso improprio o ad uno smaltimento scorretto delle stesse apparecchiature.

Effettuare una raccolta differenziata, o riconsegnare al distributore l’apparecchiatura all’atto dell’acquisto di una nuova. Lo smaltimento abusivo di detti rifiuti prevede sanzioni.

1.2 Manutenzione

• Evitare di lasciare il navigatore sotto i raggi diretti del sole. Nel caso in cui il dispositivo risulti surriscaldato fare scendere la temperatura dell’abitacolo e del dispositivo a valori normali prima di accendere il sistema.

• Evitare di far prendere urti al display e alla base dell’antenna contenente il ricevitore GPS.

• Non utilizzare mai prodotti a base di petrolio per pulire la superficie del display LCD.

• Evitare di far penetrare acqua all’interno del dispositivo.

Accendere il dispositivo posizionando il selettore ON/OFF su ON e premendo il tasto accensione.

La schermata iniziale permette di scegliere fra le modalità: navigatore, lettore Video, lettore Mp3 e visualizzatore di immagini. .

Scegliere la modalità Navigatore per impostare una rotta.

La prima schermata del software di navigazione contiene importanti avvertenze.

Se la pagina di avvertenze non è nella lingua desiderata, è possibile impostare immediatamente la lingua utente, premendo il tasto

Impostazioni Lingua.

Per tornare all’avviso iniziale premere il tasto croce in alto a destra, quindi premere il tasto Accetta per accettare le avvertenze e condizioni di utilizzo.

Attendere la ricerca dei satelliti per visualizzare la propria posizione sulla mappa. Se prima di spegnere il navigatore era stata impostata una rotta, la navigazione verrà ripresa.

2.1 La Mappa

Se è disponibile la posizione GPS, la posizione del veicolo sulla mappa è rappresentata da un’icona (es. un’automobile).

Sulla barra di navigazione vengono riportate le seguenti informazioni:

Se la navigazione è attiva, il riquadro a sinistra indica la distanza dalla prossima manovra, mentre un’icona illustra il tipo di manovra.

Se la posizione GPS è disponibile, la barra inferiore indica il nome della strada che stiamo percorrendo.

Se la navigazione è attiva, la barra superiore indica la strada nella quale ci stiamo per immettere.

A destra troviamo l’indicatore GPS, che indica la qualità della ricezione satellitare.

A destra dell’indicatore GPS troviamo il pulsante MENU, grazie al quale in ogni momento è possibile accedere al Menu Principale.

Sul lato sinistra dello schermo troviamo un’area dedicata alle informazioni di viaggio. Riporta i seguenti dati:

Tempo rimanente a destinazione

Velocità del veicolo

Distanza rimante a destinazione

2.2 Il Menu Principale

Il pulsante MENU in basso a destra sulla schermata della mappa apre il Menu Principale.

Premendo il tasto Impostazioni in basso a destra si accede alle impostazioni del sistema, mentre premendo il tasto Mappa in basso a sinistra si torna alla visualizzazione della mappa.

Per inserire manualmente un indirizzo selezionare il tasto Indirizzo. Si accede ad una schermata con 4 campi bianchi selezionabili. I campi sono:

Selezionando ognuno dei campi, si accede alla tastiera virtuale tramite la quale è possibile inserire i dati desiderati.

Una volta inserito l’indirizzo, è possibile eseguire una delle seguenti operazioni:

Mostra su mappa: per visualizzare il punto sulla mappa

Vai: per iniziare la navigazione

Nella stessa finestra sono visibili altri due tasti, che permettono di scegliere diversi criteri di ricerca:

Recenti, collocato a sinistra fra Vai e Mostra su mappa, che permette di scegliere fra gli indirizzi cercati in precedenza.

Codice postale, collocato in basso al centro, per scegliere di inserire il codice postale al posto della località.

3.2 Cercare un punto di interesse (PI)

I Punti di Interessi (PI) sono una raccolta di punti utili, come aeroporti, ristoranti, servizi pubblici, già disponibili all’interno del software di navigazione. I punti di interesse sono divisi per macrocategorie, che contengono ognuna svariate categorie.

Per cercare la propria destinazione fra i punti di interesse, dal Menu

Destinazione scegliere PI. Nella nuova finestra, scegliere il criterio di ricerca, che può essere:

Vicino alla mia posizione

Vicino ad una città

Vicino a destinazione

Scegliere Vicino alla mia posizione per esplorare i PI vicini. Il navigatore propone una lista di categorie. Scegliere la categoria di appartenenza di PI che si sta cercando, quindi, nella schermata successiva, scegliere la subcategoria. Ad esempio: categoria

TRASPORTI subcategoria AEROPORTO.

Il navigatore cercherà tutti i PI vicini alla propria posizione corrispondenti ai parametri di ricerca inseriti e ne proporrà la lista.

Scegliere un elemento della lista per visualizzare le informazioni complete. Nella schermata delle informazioni, scegliere Mostra su mappa per vedere il punto sulla cartografia, o Vai per iniziare la navigazione.

3.3 Cercare un contatto nella rubrica

Per cercare un contatto già memorizzato nella rubrica, dal Menu

Destinazione scegliere Rubrica. Comparirà la lista delle cartelle contenenti i contatti. Premere su una cartella per esplorarne l’interno.

All’interno della cartella, scegliere un contatto per visualizzarne le informazioni complete. Nella finestra delle informazioni complete, scegliere Mostra su mappa per visualizzare il contatto sulla cartografia, oppure Vai per iniziare la navigazione.

4. Memorizzare un contatto in rubrica

4.1 Memorizzare un contatto

Motivo permette di memorizzare in rubrica fino a 1000 punti personali, ordinati per cartelle. Per memorizzare un contatto nella rubrica si esegua la seguente procedura.

Sulla cartografia, tenere premuto un punto per due secondi. Comparirà una finestra con un menu che permette di scegliere fra le seguenti opzioni:

Ottieni informazioni complete sul punto

Imposta il punto come partenza

Imposta il punto come destinazione

Memorizza il punto come contatto

Imposta un blocco sul punto

Imposta il punto come tappa intermedia

Scegliere il primo tasto a sinistra nella seconda riga per memorizzare il punto in rubrica.

Comparirà la finestra Modifica contatto, tramite la quale è possibile inserire il nome del contatto e scegliere in quale cartella memorizzarlo.

Si può anche associare al contatto un’icona diversa da quella standard.

4.2 Salvare un contatto come Casa

È possibile salvare un contatto come Casa. Una volta impostato un contatto come Casa, scegliendo dal Menu Principale l’opzione Portami a Casa, il navigatore avvierà automaticamente la navigazione.

Per salvare un contatto come Casa, scegliere una cartella nella

Rubrica contatti e quindi scegliere un contatto. Verranno visualizzate le informazioni complete. È sufficiente premere il tasto Casa a sinistra,

5.1 Il menu Funzioni di rotta

Per accedere al menu Funzioni di rotta, scegliere il tasto relativo sul

Menu principale.

Il menu Funzioni di rotta mette a disposizione una serie di strumenti utili ad agire sulla rotta impostata. Sono:

Inverti rotta, per invertire la rotta e tornare al punto di partenza.

Opzioni di rotta, per impostare i criteri di calcolo della rotta.

Elimina rotta, per cancellare la rotta imposta.

Lista manovre, per visualizzare una lista di tutte le manovre, dal punto di partenza alla destinazione.

Ricalcola percorso, per ricalcolare il percorso.

Nel caso non sia impostata nessuna rotta, sarà disponibile soltanto il tasto Opzioni di rotta.

5.2 Opzioni di rotta

L’impostazione delle opzioni di rotta è una procedura fondamentale per ottimizzare la navigazione secondo le proprie esigenze.

Selezionare Opzioni di rotta dal menu Funzioni di rotta, per accedere alle impostazioni. Le impostazioni occupano due pagine, che si possono scorrere grazie alle frecce posizionate sulla barra superiore, a destra e a sinistra dello schermo. La prima pagina, tramite il menu

Evita, permette di escludere dal calcolo della rotta alcuni particolari tratti stradali. I tratti che è possibile escludere sono:

Impostazioni schermo, che permette di cambiare la luminosità o di impostare la vista notturna

Istruzioni Vocali, che permette di regolare il volume e la frequenza delle istruzioni vocali

Simulazione, che permette, una volta impostata la rotta, di avviare una simulazione

Allarmi, che permette di impostare degli allarmi di avvicinamento, ad esempio a dei punti speciali, come gli autovelox

Reset, che permette di tornare alle impostazioni originali di fabbrica.

Per salvare e tornare al menu Impostazioni premere il tasto OK in basso a destra.

Do not place the navigator in positions that may obstruct the driver’s view.

Do not place the navigator in positions that may interfere with the correct functioning of the security/safety equipment of the vehicle

(e.g. airbags).

Make sure that the navigator is correctly attached to the bracket before driving.

Do not rely exclusively on vocal instructions. Depending on a variety of factors, (speed, weather, GPS reception etc) these instructions may not be correct or timely. Always take the information provided as indicative, and always respect the

Highway Code. Satellite navigators should be considered merely as aids. The driver is held responsible for safe driving and the choice of the best route to take.

Do not consult the navigator whilst driving if this represents a danger for you and other people.

Do not program the navigator while driving .

The precision of the GPS signal, in the best possible conditions is guaranteed with a deviation of 15 meters.

N.B.: The information contained in this manual is updated to April

2007. Any subsequent changes in the system, in the functions, in the tools bar or maps introduced after this date will not be present in this manual.

1. Introduction

1.1 Battery disposal

This product is equipped with a built-in Li-Ion battery. Do not use the product in damp or corrosive environments. In order to lengthen the life of the battery, do not recharge it at temperatures higher than 60°C.

Do not leave the navigator in direct sunlight for extended periods.

This could compromise the correct running of your navigator. If you suspect that the navigator has been over heated because of sunlight exposure, let the temperature of the car cool down, and wait for the device temperature to go down to normal values before switching it on.

Avoid knocking against the display.

Do not use oil based products to clean the LCD surface.

Looking at the navigator you can see the following components:

To power on the navigator, position the ON/OFF selector on ON and then push the Power Key.

In the first screen choose among navigator, video player, mp3 player and picture viewer. The first page of the satellite navigation software displays some important warnings.

If the warnings are not in the language required, it is possible to set immediately the text language by touching the Language setting button in the lower left corner. Select the desired language for the text, and then touch the upper right arrow button to select the voice language (for vocal instructions)

Touch the OK button to close the language setting window and go back to the warning page

Touch the Accept button to accept the warning and display the Map

If a route was set before switching off the navigator, the navigation will continue toward the previously selected destination.

2.1 The Map

If the GPS signal is active, the position of the vehicle on the map is shown with an Icon (e.g. a blue car).

On the right part of the map the zoom in and zoom out button are displayed.

In the lower right corner of the screen the GPS icon shows the status and quality of the GPS signal. Next to the GPS icon, The Menu button allows opening the main menu.

In the lower part of the screen the information bar is displayed.

The information bar displays the name of the street you are travelling

• along, and above that, the name of the street you will have to turn into.

The left corner of the information bar shows the distance to the next manoeuvre and the icon of the manoeuvre you will have to perform.

When in navigation, on the left part of the screen there are three info boxes showing:

2.2 The Main Menu

The MENU button in the lower right corner of the screen opens the

Main Menu.

By touching the Setting button in the lower right corner, you can access to the system setting, while touching the Map button on the lower left corner you can go back to the map view.

From the main menu you can access to the Where to go menu, Route functions, Drive me home shortcut, Display settings menu, Volume control.

3. Setting a route

In order to insert your first destination touch the MENU button, then touch the WHERE TO GO button to open the Where to Go page. You can choose here a destination among:

When touching a field the virtual keyboard opens up.

Once you have inserted an address it is possible to choose among:

In the same page you can also choose different search criteria:

The recently found button allows you viewing the last found addresses.

The Zip code button allows you inserting the post code instead of the city.

3.2 Points of interest (POI)

The database of the points of interests includes hotels, restaurants, hospitals, police stations etc. This information is preloaded in the memory card, together with the cartographic data. The POI and are grouped in categories.

To search for a destination among the points of interests, touch the

Menu button, and then touch the Where to Go button. In the Where to Go page touch the POI button, and then in The POI page choose among:

Near to my position

Near to destination

Choose Near to my position to look for POI that are in the surroundings of your GPS position. Choose the POI category and subcategory e.g. category: Transports, Subcategory: Airport, the navigator will search for the POI and will display a list of results. Choose an element of the list to view full info (name, description, address, telephone number). In the full info page choose Show on Map to view the point on the map or

GO to start the navigation.

3.3 Personal contacts

To look for a personal contact saved in the address book touch the

Menu button, then touch the Where to Go button; choose Contact from the Where to Go page. A list of the contacts’ folders will be displayed.

Touch a folder to open it. Choose a contact to vie full details (name, address, description, and icon). In the full info page choose Show

on Map to view the contact’s position on the map or GO to start the navigation.

4. Save a contact in the address book

4.1 Save a contact

You can Save up to 1000 personal contacts in your AvMap Motivo and organize them in folders.

To save a contact manually, touch and hold for two seconds on the point in the map that you wish to save: a pop up window will appear.

From the pop up window you can:

Obtain full info on the point

Set the point as departure

Set the point as destination

Save the point as contact

Block the road in that point

Set the point as waypoint

Touch the first button on the left side of the second line to save the position as a contact in the address book. In the edit contact window insert the name of the contact, and choose the folder of destination.

You can also choose an icon for each contact.

4.2 Save a contact as Home

The contact set as Home can be rapidly set as destination thanks to the Drive me Home shortcut button in the main menu.

To save a contact as Home first save the contact as described in par

4.1 then in the edit contact window touch the Home button to set the

5. Route functions

In the Main Menu touch the Route Functions button. From the Route

Functions menu you can edit your route:

The Invert Route button allows inverting the route and going back to the departure point,

The Route Options button allows setting all the criteria to calculate the best route for your journey,

The Clear Route deletes the route,

The Turn List button allows viewing the list of all the manoeuvres you need to carry out from the departure to the destination

The Recalculate to destination button recalculates the route after modifications have been done.

In case no route is set only the Route Options menu will be available.

5.2 Route options

The route options are criteria that optimize the calculation of the best possible route for your needs.

In the main menu touch the Route Functions button, then in the Route

Function Menu touch the Route Options button. The Route Options

Menu is distributed in two pages: in the first page you can choose which street to avoid in your route.

Atención:

• No colocar el navegador en una posición que cree dificultad a la visual del conductor.

Los navegadores satelitales proveen un simple auxilio de orientación para el conductor. La responsabilidad del conductor es manejar correctamente y elegir la mejor ruta.

• Durante el viaje es posible recibir informaciones de voz por eje: “Mantenga su derecha”, o “A 300 metros dar la vuelta a la derecha”, estas indicaciones provienen de los datos cartográficos que a veces podrían no corresponder a la calle en la cual se viaja. Hay que poner mucha atención cuando se aproxima a una rotatoria, las indicaciones vocales no podrían ser simples.

• El conductor no debe distraerse al consultar el navegador, podría ser peligroso. Para consultar el navegador hay que parar el coche, y seguir las indicaciones del navegador.

• Efectuar las operaciones manuales del navegador, exclusivamente con el coche parado.

• Con una señal en buenas condiciones, con 15 metros extra de cobertura, la precisión del GPS es garantizada.

El contenido del presente manual ha sido actualizado a Abril 2007 , y esta sujeto a modífica sin pre aviso.

1. Introducción

1.1 Desechar la batería

Este producto contiene una batería integrada de ión de litio. No utilice el producto en ambientes húmedos y/o corrosivos. Para una duración mayor de la batería la recarga no debe ser efectuada a temperaturas mayores de 60°C.

1.2 Mantenimiento

• No deje el navegador bajo los rayos directos del sol. Si el dispositivo se sobrecalentase haga enfriar la temperatura del habitáculo y del dispositivo antes de encender el sistema.

• Evite golpes a la a pantalla y a la base de la antena del recibidor

GPS.

• No utilizar productos en base de petróleo para limpiar la superficie de la pantalla LCD.

• Evite hacer entrar el agua al interno del dispositivo.

Encender el navegador colocando el selector ON/OFF en ON y presionando la tecla de encendido.

El mensaje en la pantalla le permite elegir el modo navegador, reproductor de video, reproductor de música y visor de imágenes.

Elija el modo navegador para programar una ruta.

El primer mensaje que aparece en la pantalla de navegación contiene advertencias importantes.

.Si la pagina de advertencias no esta en el idioma deseado, se puede programar inmediatamente el idioma del usuario, presione la tecla programar el idioma.

Toque la cruz para cerrar la ventana y volver al mensaje inicial, o sea toque Aceptar para aceptar las advertencias y condiciones del uso del navegador.

Espere la búsqueda del satélite para ver su propia posición en el mapa. Si antes de apagar el navegador estaba programada una ruta, la navegación continuara.

Los puntos de interés son útiles para consultar, por ejemplo, si uno se encuentra en una ciudad que no conoce. Esta información esta grabada en la base de datos del Motivo . Los PDI comprenden.

Hoteles, restaurantes, hospitales, cine, policía, etc.

Para buscar el propio destino entre los PDI, del Menu Destinos, Elija

PDI. En la nueva pantalla, elija el criterio de búsqueda, que puede ser:

Navigationshilfe gedacht. Nur der Fahrer selbst ist für die sichere

Programmieren und bedienen Sie den Navigator nicht während der

L’utilisateur devra ignorer les indications suggérées par le navigateur dans le cas où elles seraient en contraction avec le code de la route.

Les données cartographiques chargées dans le système de navigation peuvent comporter quelques différences avec la réalité du terrain. Ceci est dû à l’évolution permanente du réseau routier.

Ne placer pas le système de navigation à un endroit masquant la vue du chauffeur

Ne pas placer le système de navigation à un endroit qui pourrait entraver le bon fonctionnement des équipements de sécurité du véhicule (comme par exemple les airbags).

Assurez-vous que le système de navigation est correctement fixé à son support avant de rouler.

Ne vous fiez pas uniquement aux instructions vocales. En fonction de différents facteurs (vitesse, météo, réception GPS etc.) ces instructions peuvent être erronées ou non synchronisées. Prenez toujours les informations fournies comme suggestions et respectez toujours le code de la route.

Les systèmes de navigation satellites doivent seulement être considérés comme des aides à la navigation. Le chauffeur est tenu responsable de sa conduite en toute sécurité et du choix de la meilleure route à prendre.

Ne consulter pas le système de navigation en conduisant si cela représente un danger pour vous ou pour une tierce personne.

Ne programmez pas le système de navigation en conduisant.

La précision du signal GPS, dans le meilleur des cas, est garantie pour une valeur de 15 mètres.

Les informations contenues dans ce manuel ont été mises à jour en

Avril 2007. Tout changement important dans le système, concernant les fonctions, les barres d’outils ou les cartes intervenu après cette date ne sera pas inclut dans ce manuel.

1. Introduction

1.1 Remplacement de la batterie

Ce produit est équipé d’une batterie Ion-Lithium. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans un environnement humide ou corrosif. Pour conserver

à la batterie sa durée de vie, ne pas la recharger à des températures supérieures à 60 °C.

PROCEDURE EN VIGUEUR.

Le symbole représenté ici et sur la boîte indique la conformité à la directive WEEE.

Ne jetez pas ce produit WEEE dans les ordures ménagères; Certains composants de l’équipement électronique sont préjudiciables pour l’environnement et la santé publique en cas d’utilisation impropre ou s’ils sont mis au rebus de façon incorrecte.

Ramenez l’appareil à votre distributeur lors de l’achat d’un nouvel équipement. La décharge illicite de tels produits est passible de sanctions.

Ne laissez pas le système de navigation à la lumière directe du soleil trop longtemps. Si vous suspectez que le système de navigation est en surchauffe à la suite d’une exposition au soleil, laissez la température de votre véhicule redescendre et attendez que votre appareil soit de nouveau à une température normale pour le remettre en service.

Eviter de tapoter l’afficheur et la base de l’antenne du recépteur

GPS.

Ne pas utiliser des produits à base d’huile pour nettoyer l’écran

LCD.

Eviter le contact avec l’eau.

Allumer le dispositif en glissant le sélecteur ON/OFF sur

et en appuyant sur la touche de démarrage.

L’affichage initial permet de choisir entre modalité navigateur, lecteur vidéo, lecteur musical et visionneur de photos.

Choisir la modalité Navigateur pour insérer un itinéraire.

La première page du logiciel de navigation contient de avertissements importantes.

Si la page affichée n’est pas dans la langue souhaitée , il est possible immédiatement de changer de langue en appuyant sur la touche

Pour revenir à la page des avertissements appuyer la touche croix en haut sur la droite, puis appuyer la touche

pour accepter les avertissements et le mode d’emploie.

Attendre la recherche des satellites pour visualiser sa position sur la carte. Si une route a été activée avant l’arrêt du Motivo, la navigation continuera vers la destination choisie.

2.1 La Carte

Si la position GPS est disponible, la position du véhicule sur la carte est représentée par un’ icone (ex. Une voiture).

Sur la barre de navigation les informations suivantes sont affichées:

Si la navigation est active, la boite à gauche indique la distance vous séparant de la prochaine manœuvre et que un’ icone de la manœuvre que vous devrez effectuer.

Si la position GPS est disponible, la barre inférieure vous donne le nom de la rue dans laquelle vous circulez. Lorsque la navigation est active, la barre supérieure vous donne la rue dans laquelle vous allez vous diriger.

Sur la droite on trouve l’indicateur GPS, qui informe sur la qualité du signal satellitaire.

A la droite de l’indicateur GPS il y a la touche

Sul le coté de gauche de l’écran on trouve l’aire dédiée aux informations du voyage, avec les données suivantes:

2.2 Menu Principal

Appuyant la touche Réglages en bas sur la droite donne accès aux

Réglages du Système, alors que appuyant la touche Carte en bas sur la gauche, on revient à l’affichage de la carte.

3.0 Choisir une destination

3.1 Définir la première destination

Dans le but d’insérer votre première destination:

Du Menu Principale accéder au Menu Destination appuyant sur la touche Choisir Destination.

Le Menu Destination permet de choisir parmi:

Pour insérer une adresse appuyez sur la touche Adresse. Une page s’affiche à 4 champs vides à choisir:

Sélectionner le champ désiré pour accéder au clavier virtuel par le quel il est possible d’insérer les données souhaitées.

Une fois l’adresse insérée, il est possible de procéder par une des opérations suivantes:

Montrer sur Carte

: pour afficher la position de l’adresse choisie sur la carte

GO

: pour calculer la route et commencer la navigation de la position

GPS actuelle vers la destination choisie.

Dans la même page deux autres touches sont affichées, qui permettent de choisir parmi de différents paramètres de recherche:

Récentes

- positionné à gauche entre Go et Montrer sur Carte, permet de choisir parmi les adresses recherchés en précédence.

Code Postal

– positionné dans le centre en bas – pour choisir d’insérer le code postal à la place de la localité.

3.2 Recherche d’un Point d’intérêt (POI)

La base de données des points d’intérêts est très utile lorsque vous rendez dans une région non connue. Les POI incluent les hôtels, restaurants, hôpitaux, bureaux de

police, cinémas etc. et sont regroupés en catégories ci-après

Pour rechercher sa destination parmi les POI, du Menu Destination choisir

pour explorer les POI des alentours.

Le navigateur propose une liste de catégorie. Choisir la catégorie d’appartenance du POI recherché, puis, dans la page suivante, choisir la catégorie. Par exemple: catégorie TRANSPORT sub catégorie

AEROPORT.

Le navigateur recherche tous les POI proches de sa position correspondantes aux paramètres de recherche insérés et en montre la liste.

Choisir un élément de la liste pour visualiser les informations complètes. Dans la page des informations, choisir Montrer sur Carte pour visualiser le point sur la carte, ou Go pour débuter la navigation.

Pour rechercher un contact déjà sauvegardé dans le carnet d’adresses, choisir du Menu Destination du

Carnet d’Adresses

. La liste des fichiers contenant les contacts s’affiche. Appuyer sur l’un des fichiers pour en explorer le contenu. Une fois choisi le contact à visualiser, l’appuyer pour visualiser les infos complètes. Dans la page des infos complètes, choisir

Montrer sur Carte

pour visualiser la

position du contact sur la carte, ou Go pour débuter la navigation.

4.1 Sauvegarder un contact

Motivo permet de sauvegarder dans le carnet jusqu’à 1000 points utilisateurs, divises par fichiers. Pour sauvegarder un contact suivre cette procédure: sur la carte, appuyer pour deux secondes. Une page s’affiche avec un menu qui permet de choisir parmi :

Sauvegarder le point comme contact

Insérez un bloque sur le point

Régler le point comme waypoint

Choisir la première touche à gauche dans la deuxième ligne pour sauvegarder le point dans le carnet.

Modifier Contact s’affiche, à travers lequel l’on insère le nom du contact et pois choisir dans quel fichier le sauvegarder. Il est possible aussi d’associer au contact une icône différente que celle standard.

4.2 Régler l’adresse de la BASE

Il est possible de sauvegarder un contact comme Base. Une fois réglé un contact comme Base, en choisissant du Menu Principal l’option

Conduis-moi à la Base

, le navigateur débutera la navigation

automatiquement.

Pour sauvegarder un contact comme Base, choisir un fichier dans le Carnet des Contacts, puis choisir un contact. Les infos complètes seront affichées. Il vous suffit d’appuyer la touche Base sur la gauche, au dessous de la touche
