Great for parallel play!

Just spin this wonderful busy box and go on an adventure of textures, sights and sounds. Six different activation plates which operate independently encourage parallel play for two or more children.

Mirrors, fans, music, songs, lights, sound effects, and spinning beads are just some of the wonderful sensory sensations this activity center provides. High contrast colors are great for a user with visual impairments. Comes with on/off volume control. Size: 17½" Diameter x

8½"H. Requires 6 C and 3 AA Batteries. Weight: 6½ lbs.

1. The Textured Carousel Busy Box requires 6 C size and 3AA batteries. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together.

2. The battery compartments are located on the underside of the unit.

To install the batteries, turn the activity Center over and remove the small Phillips head screws from the black battery cases. Next slide the covers off.

3. Install the batteries, following proper (+) & (-) battery polarity.

Replace covers and screws. Mounted on a Lazy Susan base allows users the ability to spin the activity center for easy access to all of the sensory plates. Turn both On/Off toggle switches On as well as the On/Off/Volume control.

4. Touch the Orange plate to see spinning colored glitter, yellow lights and hear upbeat music.

5. Push the cyan plate to feel air on the palm of your hand as multicolored lights flash while hearing howling wind in the background.

6. Activate the textured green plate to experience spinning colored beads, green lights and fun music.

7. Press the blue plate while looking in the mirror and you will see and optical illusion of spinning colored lights that go on forever and ever and hear matching music.

8. Hit the red plate to see spinning Pom Pom colored balls, red lights and new age music.

9. Push the bumpy brown plate to see a happy face light up, multicolored lights blink and a wonderful song about putting a smile on your face.

10. Each of the sensory stimuli will only remain activated as long as pressure is maintained on the corresponding colored plate. Once you release the plate the stimuli will stop.

Troubleshooting:

Care of Unit:

The Sensory Textured Activity Center can be wiped clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner or disinfectant. Use caution not to get cleaning fluid or any liquid under the plate areas.
