I 1 1.3 1.4 F D USO PREVISTO INTENDED USE UTILISATION PRÉVUE The air-conditioner must only be used for improving the room temperature for increased comfort. For the best results, it is therefore essential to calculate the summer temperature of the room concerned. AVVERTENZE WARNINGS WICHTIGE HINWEISE • To prevent damage to the compressor, the appliance is unable to start for 3 minutes after being turned off. • This appliance must be used solely for the specific purpose for which it was designed, i.e. for air-conditioning in the rooms in which it is installed. All other uses are to be considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for personal injury or damage to property caused by inappropriate, incorrect or unreasonable use. 10 GB • In the even of a breakage or malfunction of the appliance, turn it off and do not attempt to repair it. For repair work contact solely the technical service centres authorised by the manufacturer and ask for original spare parts to be used. Use shutters, curtains, venetian blinds to reduce sunlight and keep doors and windows closed. • Position the air conditioner in front of a window or French window • Fold the conveyor end (fig. 5 A) back on itself and insert it into the flexible hose (fig. 5 B). • Insert the pipe into the fitting. • Lay the pipe only as far as necessary so the air conveyor is closed between the windows. INSTALLAZIONE FISSA (Fig. 6) FESTE INSTALLATION (Abb. 6) The air conditioner can also be installed with fixed holes in windows or walls. Air flow must not be obstructed by protective mesh or similar. Le recomendamos reducir el efecto de los rayos solares usando persianas, cortinas, persianas venecianas y man-tener cerradas las puertas y ventanas. • Poner en posición el climatizador delante de una ventana o de una puerta ventana. • Pliegue el transportador terminal sobre sí mismo (Fig. 5 A) e insértelo en el tubo flexible (Fig. 5 B). • Introduzcan el tubo en el racor. • E x t i e n d a n e l t u v o s ó l o l o estrictamente necesario, de modo que el conducto del aire permanezca entre los batientes del bastidor.
