Description
Multimedia capability house
connecting amplifier for medium-sized to large building
units. All of the important function units, such as preamplifier,
diplex filters, return channel
amplifier and the associated
actuators are completely implemented on the circuit board

Equipotential bonding
The amplifier must be provided with equipotential
bonding by means of a mechanically stable
protective conductor with a minimum crosssection of 4 mm2. A connection is provided at the
cross recess screw for equipotential bonding.
Safety requirements for remotely-fed
amplifiers (GPV 845 CF):
The remote power supply voltage between the
inner and outer conductors must not have an
effective value greater than 65 V.
The following conditions must be met:
• The remote supply must be restricted to the feed
line and must not be extended to the subscriber
cables. Insert the plug-in fuses such that there is
no supply voltage present at the amplifier output
(see p. 6, position 2), or use additional galvanic
isolation.
• Under no circumstances is the remote power
supply voltage to be accessible for members of
the public.
• Only use remote power supplies with isolation
protection in accordance with EN 60 065 or
EN 60 950!
