How to get started
1. Attach the USB cable of the USB Cup Warmer directly to any available USB port on your
computer. Do not use an external USB hub as this may cause issues with the appliance’s power
supply.
2. Switch on the USB Cup Warmer by pressing the button on the back. The appliance is switched on
when the button is pressed down; otherwise the device is switched off.
3. You can connect another four USB devices to the integrated hub. The hub works in “buspowered-mode”. The power supplied by your computer (100/500mA) is distributed across all four
USB ports. The overall power consumption may not exceed the total amount when one or several
devices are connected to the ports.
4. The green LED lights up when the device is ready to operate. When in heating mode the red LED
lights up.
Additional operating advice
When in heating mode, the metal plate will reach a temperature of 56 °C. Do not touch the hot
plate as this may cause burns.
It is recommended to use pots that are sensitive to heat, i.e. cups made from metal or stainless
steel. For best results, use cups that are slightly smaller than the hot plate.
When in heating mode, always place a cup on the hot place. Otherwise, the appliance may overheat.
Switch off the USB Cup Warmer if not being used or if you leave the desk.
